Murder, She Wrote (1984–1996)
2/10
horrible attempt

So far from reality that it goes past Forbidden Planet. Why would any LEO allow her to review or even be at the crime scene? Why would anyone talk to her while she's "investigating?" Why doesn't (almost every) suspect tell her to piss off and ask the arresting office for a lawyer? Why does every villain confess when confronted with BS evidence, and without an attorney?

It's just a sad excuse of the depths TV series sunk to get viewers.

It's almost as horrible as Matlock or Diagnosis Murder. Go with slightly better ones, like Rockford, Remington Steele, or dozens of others that don't completely insult the viewer's intelligence.
