I think that this finale wrapped things up quite nicely, with enough left open for a season 2, but I can't help but say that this finale was a bit underwhelming. First, the fight scenes are a pain to watch. So many cuts, horrible choreography, feels like I'm watching that scene in Taken 3 where there's 8 separate takes of Liam Neeson jumping over a fence. Just as fight scenes begin, the attention is taken somewhere else while the fight scene is happening off camera, only to cut back for a few seconds for some bad fighting.
John Walker kind of randomly walks on screen at one point, with no build up at all. The one bald guy from The Winter Soldier is in here, but serves no purpose whatsoever. And Karli, the mediocre villain of the month, does nothing memorable either, although SPOILERS.......... (her death is hilarious to watch.)
Bucky is Bucky, always great to watch, gets to make amends. Sharon plays an important role that surprised me, but Sam is really the one who shines in this finale, by becoming the new Captain America we've been wanting him to be. Sam in the new suits rocks. All the Flight scenes were great and is what kept me enjoying some of the action scenes. And it was great to finally see Bradley get the honor and respect he deserves. Overall a pretty solid finale, but nothing too amazing.
