This is the game I refer to when i am talking about bad video games. this game deserves the title so bad it's good. when I was 7 or so years old in 2006. i heard about this game. i saw the first trailer. i was flipping out on how awesome it looked, but later did I know. the game was a piece of crap. I started playing the game when i got an Xbox360 for Xmas in 2012. i went out with my family to buy games for it. we stopped at the nearest GameStop and i went looking for this game. I bought the game to do an L.P. (Let's-play) on the game for Youtube. that's when i found out the game was a piece of GARBAGE. the story is horrendous until the last scene. there is glitches everywhere. the level design is Crap. the game gets really repetitive. the boos fights are o.k. , but the at made me give ending reckons everything which is why i give this game the title so bad it's good, because the story never existed. that's awesome.

The Worst Sonic Game of All Time if not the Worst game of All Time

Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 promised to be the milestone 15th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The game promised to improve a lot of the mechanical limitation of previous Sonic 3D series but instead it proved to be a fatally broken game that was poorly conceived, overly rushed, bugged beyond comprehension and prove to be the most frustrating and most unsatisfying game to play both of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I can only give a brief rundown of just how broken the game because someone could easily write a full book of just how bad it really is.
The game's physics are sloppy, Sonic has gone from being the fastest thing alive to being slightly faster than Shadow the Hedgehog. I think Shadow might even be faster in this game than Sonic is. This is especially obvious when Sonic is carrying the Princess which you will be doing plenty of in this game. The Homing attack is equally bad which slows you down more than speeds you up and has pauses you in mid air. So rather than Sonic continuing to each enemy in a ball he uncurls in mid air and one wrong move will send you careening off your course and to your death.
All thought Sonic lacks much of his speed from previous games he still can get pretty fast. But even when you do manage to get enough speed there's always something in your way to instantly slow you down. When Sonic slows down he doesn't just slow down he gets knocked back on his ass. This is something seen in most Mario games of the present era but why is this happening to Sonic? This makes timed missions more hard than they should be.
The control scheme is extremely unstable, when you get Sonic running at high speeds along a narrow ramp you probably will go flying off into a bottomless pit, it's aggravating! The Camera will probably be your worst enemy in this game as it's never where you want it to be.
Besides the game's awful game mechanics we were also treated to a half-assed story line of Sonic falling in love with a human girl. Yeah, what? Now Sega deserves a lot of the blame for pushing this game for a quick Christmas time release, but Sonic Team is still equally to blame. Sonic Team is the one who designed the game with the most ridiculous levels including the Mach Speed Levels where you run with little to no control at a million miles per hour, wrote the dumbest scenario in any video game ever. This game deserves the same fate as ET for the Atari, be buried forever.

Sonic 2006 is a terrible game. No doubts, The story is trash, The characters are trash, Pretty much everything about it is awful. To get the important things out of the way, Bestiality *cough* So that's a thing, Mephiles is a terrible excuse for a villain, The plot is a cluttered mess, And when Silver and Shadow have actual attempts at story telling, Meanwhile Sonic is stuck doing a story worse then a Mario Bros. plot, You know you're doing something wrong. Best part is though... The game is laughable with how trash it is. I paid 5 bucks for it and I knew from the start it was garbage, But DAMN you have to play it to believe how ridiculously stupid it is. My favorite part is though... There is SOME semblance of a good game here. Sonic is at least somewhat enjoyable with how he plays, And Blaze is probably the best character in the game (Game-play wise, She does absolutely nothing in this story) Overall, This game is bad, But unlike watching your brother get hit by a truck (Sonic Genesis) This is like seeing some random guy who you hate to look at get hit by a truck, You can't help but laugh y'know?

Sonic 06 is a disaster of a game, i liked the game at first, 5 years ago, but now it's a franchise-killer, absolutely hate this game, this game could be described as offensively Shiite. Here's why this game should be send straight to hell.

The story follows Elise while celebrating a anniversary in Soleanna, she has a presence of her evil within Iblis, the Flames of Disaster, then Eggman comes and tells Elise about her Flames Secret, Sonic comes and saves her and later captured, along the way, Sonic meets Silver who mistakenly refer to him as the Iblis Trigger by Mephiles, a dark spirit, then when Elise get captured again, Sonic must travel back in time to find out about the Flames and save Elise as well as saving Soleanna from Solaris, true form of Mephiles, boy what a struggle.
The game is a platformer With action elements, You play 3 different stories, Sonic's story, Shadow's and newcomer Silver, each have their own playstyle, i would go through each character one by one. Sonic's gameplay is broken, by horrendous Control design and camera as well as design, Tails, Knuckles are so cheap, they could bust a hole. Shadow's gameplay is better than sonic's but same, just broken. Silver, i have nothing.
Control is awful, so broken and unresponsive, they make me vomit Shiite, camera is broken, i hate it. Graphics are decent, could have been better. The worst of them all is the bugs, this game was rushed resulting in the buggiest game since Big Rigs and Warrior Within.
The kissing scene is vomit-inducing, why Sega, freaking bestiality, no no no. The Music is the only positive thing i have to say, catchy and memorable. Bosses are horrible due to camera and lousy framerate. Literally it drops 10 frames every time.
Sonic 06 is a game Worth buying only for People who must, for others, just don't do it (pun intended), a broken Control scheme, camera, plot-holed and confusing plot, glitches and frustrating design, Graphics are decent and Music is fantastic. F this game.

After displaying greatness in the fourth generation and sixth generation of video games, the game makers of the Sonic franchise went on to create a Sonic game for the seventh generation. Bizarrely, they used a title that was used by an early 1990s Sega game. Well, it's amazing that the new game didn't cause any confusion.
Although this is just another 3d Sonic game, the game also marked the beginning when certain things are changed forever. And that change certainly isn't a favorable one.
When Tails started speaking in early Sonic TV series and games, his speaking role was done by young boys. It's really traditional and best to use boys to play boys to reflect them. But when Sega took the absurd step in using old bimbos to be Tails, it was never the same. And that absurdity started in this rubbish. Once a bimbo took over, more bimbos took over to this day.
As a gamer who adores Tails, it's really disheartening to know that Tails, who is a boy, will have his speaking role done by undesirables who aren't boys seemingly to no end. Oh Sega, why are you doing this?

this game was celebrating sonic's 15th birthday in 2006. the game was called sonic the hedgehog...so now we have 3 sonic the hedgehogs but it gets worse on the same day sonic the hedgehog was released there was another sonic game on the game boy called "sonic the hedgehog" a port to the original but ill talk about that some other time. so lets call sonic the hedgehog "sonic 1" and sonic the hedgehog "sonic 8 bit" and sonic the hedgehog "sonic 06" and sonic the hedgehog "sonic Genesis".jazz I'm already complaining about the game and yet i didn't get into the game play yet.OK so like i said eralyer sonic 06 was celebrating sonic's 15th anniversary .the game play was boring. first off sonic moves slower the a car going 5 miles per hour I'm serous i cant tell you how boring it is playing as sonic getting from point A to point B because hes slow. in some sonic stages sonic will pick up the pace and move as fast as how he is supposed to be. but you can only move left and right and jump and you cant control your jumps! does that happen in sonic adventure? no it does not.the part are boring and lacks any charm.if you played any sonic adventure game you will know how to control sonic. but this time sonic has a slide kick but its useless.you can also play as shadow, tails, Amy, blaze, and more. but they all suck! well ill talk about a few...shadow: shadows game play is similar to sonics game play but shadows game play is a lot of combat and its boring. blaze: the best person to play as because shes faster then sonic! also her game play is really fun. to bad you only get to play as her for like 5 Min's! Amy is very slow, has this double jump, and turns invisible. when Amy does a double jump she jumps straight up and loses all momentum and falls straight down and you cant control her landing. turning invisible is stupid it does not make any since. sliver:the new guy. he has the force, he can fly for a short period of time, and launch things at enemy's. but HES VERY SLOW! he is as slow as Amy. this game has a lot of glitches and its annoying. if your sonic and your on a metal box start doing the slide kick and see what happens. as knuckles if you climb on a wall and get stuck no matter how many times you try to jump off you stay on. when you fight sliver as sonic silver can launch you out of the map and keep you in the battle for hours...grab a ring and stand in a corner silver will launch you in the wall and sonic will grab the ring he drooped prepare for the worst battle in video game history. everyone remembers there first encounter with silver. and those load times! they can last up to 30 seconds. this is probably the most glitched game of all time and i mean it!and finally I'm going to talk about the worst part of the game. gamers call it "the worst kiss in video game history" sonic gets killed my mephilis and to bring him back Elis has to kiss him...WHY!?!? some game critics called it the worst Sean in any video game and it killed the sonic series.the only good things about the game is the music and the graphics! don't buy sonic 06 because it is bad but not the worst. the worst is sonic Genesis. SONIC 06 GETS A BOMB!

The first Sonic game dates back to the early 1990s or perhaps the late 1980s. The game was such a hit that it spawned numerous sequels and other installments. While a lot of Sonic's games were well received, he also had some bad times. And this game which happens to share the same title as the first game was one of Sonic's bad times. The developers were in a rush to release the game on a certain holiday that they didn't have time to thoroughly inspect the game for flaws.
But the fact that the game has programming issues is only one of the things that I find unfavorable. This game also marked the beginning were sluts took over providing the words of Tails. The sluts continue to do so to this day. When will Tails go back to the boys where he belongs? Boys are best for him because Tails is a boy. I hope the developers understand that.

Not only is this the worst sonic game ever but it also could be the worst game on Xbox/PS3. I don't know what's worse: the loading time or the Sliver battle. Ahh yes the Silver battle. Before I continue talking about this awful battle, let me say (if you're unaware) this game has unbelievably bad glitches. For instance, the physics are completely screwed up - Sonic is able to walk on ceilings and not fall off! Also, Silver's ball puzzle is really just a hard, pointless mini-game. Now- back to the Silver battle. Everyone who tried it always seems to remember their first encounter. It's almost impossible to hit him because every single time you walk up to him he pulls you into the air and says an annoying line: "It's no use...Take this!" It takes hours! People say Sonic Genesis is the worst Sonic game. No No No. This is the stink BOMB!

Sonic the hedgehog 06 is like the worst game that ever made. When I heard that,I wanted to play it and see why lots of people hates it so much...I beat the game...and it was a mess...
What I loved: 1. The levels design are really good. I can watch it all day long.
2. The game's soundtrack is also really well made.
What I hate: 1. The loading screen is annoying 2. The game's broken 3. Animation sucks 4. The beginning cutscene is better what we got!
5. The story is really bad like really bad as hell.

Sonic 06, it's known for being the worse Sonic game ever, being a massive Sonic fan, I had to play this one as I haven't had the chance yet. I bought a PS3 and a copy of Sonic 06 and played it these past few days.
Now before I say anything, don't get me wrong. I understand COMPLETELY why people HATE this game. What I'll never understand is how you could possibly think it's the worse Sonic game ever.
The music is amazing, the story is fantastic, and Silver is such a cool addition to the Sonic franchise! It's a shame he was introduced in this one, as many fans hate this game due to the glitches and bugs.
Now believe me or not, I didn't seem to encounter any glitches or bugs that really ticked me off. The only thing I could say is the vehicle Shadow drives is AWFUL. I did use some glitches with Shadow and Silver to complete some of the missions faster, I had a lot of fun using some of the glitches to my advantage.
Some of the dialogue in this game has to be one of the bests in the franchise!

The cutscenes in this game are not the greatest, except for the ones they put their whole budget into, etc the intro scene and the last scene. The high budget cutscenes must've easily been the highest quality at the time for a Sonic game.
Although I loved this game, the only thing I really hate about it is the KISS.
Like why? Why did Sonic have to kiss a human.
Weird as hell.
Also mentioning Eggmans design... Luckily for us they dropped that after 06 lmao.
Some of the bosses in this game weren't the greatest, a few were really hard to control. Although I didn't mind them, none of them I really hated.
Mephiles was creepy as hell, his design actually seemed threatning, and not to mention that he's the only person who's managed to KILL Sonic.
Elise is an okay character, I was definitely more interested in Silver! He's easily one of my favourite Sonic characters and this game made me love him so much. He would do anything to protect his home and his future, although he may be a little on the naive side, it's only because he would believe anything if it meant protecting the things he loved.
I love the theme of the levels in this game. I don't think the layouts of the levels are amazing or super inspired, but I still had fun.
The Mach speed sections weren't a problem to me, although obviously they could've been ALOT better, etc being able to at-least move while you jump.
Shadow had some of the best character development in this game, I also LOVE his design in this one.
If this game wasn't in Adventure style, I'd probably hate it. The adventure games are my favourite Sonic games along with Unleashed.
Soleana is a cool hub world, I don't think it's as cool as Station Square or Mystic Ruins, but I love the soundtrack to it.
It was great to also be able to play as Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Rouge, Omega and Blaze in adventure style for the last time.
Sonic, Shadow and Silver all turning Super in the end, has to be one of my favourite cutscenes in Sonic history. The final boss was SICK! I honestly think it has to be one of the best bosses in Sonic.
In the end, I am disappointed that they didn't spend more time on this game, it could've been PERFECT, and loved by the community, but sadly it's not.
I'm glad this game still tried implanting inspirational messages for all.
I respect everyone's opinions on all Sonic games, I hope you can respect mine. Thanks!

Before I get into this, I'll let you know that I'm a Sonic fan of old, and will play any Sonic game no matter it's "fun" value because I just love the characters.
You really wanna know what's wrong with these games? There are so many things to pin-point, but I'll get to what really just hasn't been mentioned yet...
Sonic and friends have always been simplistic characters in a complex world. That's something that always made the series great; you had to use whatever simple skills you had to get through a more complex level, but at the same time there was a great thrill to it. Sonic would always move so fast on these roller-coaster like worlds. That's what made the game feel so cool, you had this awesome ability to get through almost anything. The jumping was great as well; why do you think the series was ever deemed a "platformer?" Sonic Adventure and SA2 were great because they kept the feel of speed, while giving only a few extra abilities, and throwing you in this world where there was more than one path you could take to get to the end. Too bad by SA2, most boss battles were annoying or easy (King Boo was very well done, however). Using different character was always cool because you could get to different parts of a world/level that other chars. couldn't.
It almost feels like there's nothing to earn anymore, either. Sure, collect rings, and buy Sonic a new, pointless ability that doesn't even really do anything for the game. Someone wanna tell me what making Sonic giant-sized is going to do for a game like this? I'll tell you what, NOTHING! It completely defeats the purpose! And why is Sonic the only one who can get a "ring-attracting" bubble? Everyone used to be able to have that. No special stages? No manual Super mode that eats away at your rings? Where's my quick spin-dash? Where's the speed?! The only thing that made Sonic and the Secret Rings any fun was that it had the old speed feel, but guess what? You don't have any control over it! Bah! I don't know why we can't collect the Chaos Emeralds anymore... Heck, even Sonic R let you do that.
The challenge nowadays is tolerating the two seconds of speed that you don't get to control with this sluggish, slow feel to the game, not how hard the game in and of itself actually is. How hard is this game, really? Have you ever stepped on an ant? Sweet, because you just beat Sonic the Hedgehog.
The stories of SA and SA2 were lame enough that they were their own style of cool that fit the characters and game well enough, so you could enjoy the plot for what it was worth. Tell me now why Sonic has to "die" and then get a smooch by a HUMAN in order to come back to life? I agree with another viewer here, we need more "Sonic-like" animal type characters for this story; Sonic needs to have his own planet in which he came from. The only cool character in this is Shadow; his voice fits, his character has a fitting attitude, and he doesn't have moronic looking expressions. Also, his story line is the only one that makes any sense for his character, even though they cheesed him out and made him a GUN agent.
*sigh* I still play the game though. The graphic are very pretty, and the sounds aren't so terrible. Sega needs to pull through though. I love this series, I love the characters (if you end at Sonic Heroes without Team Chaotix), and there are so many different stories they can try. Shadow was an amazing villain idea, but now he's on the hero side (well, OK, he's on his own side, but he just tends to help out for the good). Sonic needs a good rival like himself, but Robotnik needs to still exist and continue to have large-scale, hard enemies for him to fight. Chaos was a great enemy as well, but Sega since then has had a cliché of using "old legends reawakened" as a big final boss.
At it's core, it's missing the simplistic, cool character who can tackle anything. It's also missing the speed and a cool hero. This is all fixable, but I do hope it is seen. The game has beauty in looks, and that's fine, but the game itself lacks replay value... making it hard to go back and look at all the nice visuals. (By the way, the load time in this game was more than just irksome for what you get after it's done). Sonic has always had great replay value; for the way it is supposed to be done, it NEEDS it! The multi-player idea was quite amazing, however, I feel it needed an ending, and a start-over point. When in large groups, it's fun to watch, since one player can completely screw over the other player, and everyone gets to laugh for a bit.
All in all, the game is hard to get along with, but fun if you're a Sonic fan. I give it a six... and sadly... I'm being generous. :(
You really wanna know what's wrong with these games? There are so many things to pin-point, but I'll get to what really just hasn't been mentioned yet...
Sonic and friends have always been simplistic characters in a complex world. That's something that always made the series great; you had to use whatever simple skills you had to get through a more complex level, but at the same time there was a great thrill to it. Sonic would always move so fast on these roller-coaster like worlds. That's what made the game feel so cool, you had this awesome ability to get through almost anything. The jumping was great as well; why do you think the series was ever deemed a "platformer?" Sonic Adventure and SA2 were great because they kept the feel of speed, while giving only a few extra abilities, and throwing you in this world where there was more than one path you could take to get to the end. Too bad by SA2, most boss battles were annoying or easy (King Boo was very well done, however). Using different character was always cool because you could get to different parts of a world/level that other chars. couldn't.
It almost feels like there's nothing to earn anymore, either. Sure, collect rings, and buy Sonic a new, pointless ability that doesn't even really do anything for the game. Someone wanna tell me what making Sonic giant-sized is going to do for a game like this? I'll tell you what, NOTHING! It completely defeats the purpose! And why is Sonic the only one who can get a "ring-attracting" bubble? Everyone used to be able to have that. No special stages? No manual Super mode that eats away at your rings? Where's my quick spin-dash? Where's the speed?! The only thing that made Sonic and the Secret Rings any fun was that it had the old speed feel, but guess what? You don't have any control over it! Bah! I don't know why we can't collect the Chaos Emeralds anymore... Heck, even Sonic R let you do that.
The challenge nowadays is tolerating the two seconds of speed that you don't get to control with this sluggish, slow feel to the game, not how hard the game in and of itself actually is. How hard is this game, really? Have you ever stepped on an ant? Sweet, because you just beat Sonic the Hedgehog.
The stories of SA and SA2 were lame enough that they were their own style of cool that fit the characters and game well enough, so you could enjoy the plot for what it was worth. Tell me now why Sonic has to "die" and then get a smooch by a HUMAN in order to come back to life? I agree with another viewer here, we need more "Sonic-like" animal type characters for this story; Sonic needs to have his own planet in which he came from. The only cool character in this is Shadow; his voice fits, his character has a fitting attitude, and he doesn't have moronic looking expressions. Also, his story line is the only one that makes any sense for his character, even though they cheesed him out and made him a GUN agent.
*sigh* I still play the game though. The graphic are very pretty, and the sounds aren't so terrible. Sega needs to pull through though. I love this series, I love the characters (if you end at Sonic Heroes without Team Chaotix), and there are so many different stories they can try. Shadow was an amazing villain idea, but now he's on the hero side (well, OK, he's on his own side, but he just tends to help out for the good). Sonic needs a good rival like himself, but Robotnik needs to still exist and continue to have large-scale, hard enemies for him to fight. Chaos was a great enemy as well, but Sega since then has had a cliché of using "old legends reawakened" as a big final boss.
At it's core, it's missing the simplistic, cool character who can tackle anything. It's also missing the speed and a cool hero. This is all fixable, but I do hope it is seen. The game has beauty in looks, and that's fine, but the game itself lacks replay value... making it hard to go back and look at all the nice visuals. (By the way, the load time in this game was more than just irksome for what you get after it's done). Sonic has always had great replay value; for the way it is supposed to be done, it NEEDS it! Sonic The Hedgehog, infamously known as Sonic 06, is the worst Sonic game ever made. I'll give at this, the soundtrack is well made especially with the songs in the end credits. But it doesn't really matter since everything else came out a disgrace both as a game and to the franchise. The story is unengaging and tests the relationship of Sonic and Elise in the most horrible kind of way. Despite the designs on the cutscenes at the beginning and the end are nice, the gaming graphics are weak. And the characters are unappealing that feels like a slap in the face to the ones we know. But then comes the biggest problem of them all. The gameplay is absolutely terrible. Not just the fact we barely gotten anything from the game other than just a story. But the game glitches out that makes the game look like it takes forever to finish. Especially when we get to the first level. So in the end, this is a very huge low for the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. And for how horrendous it turned out to be, I wouldn't even recommend this to Sonic fans but to listen to the soundtrack. At least it's better than to waste your time with the gameplay that gave us no strategy at all.

This "game" is terrible, Sonic falls in love with a human princess, the camera constantly bumps in to things as if there is a physical camera ar cameraman, I would love this game... if I was 2! The first cunscene had great graphics for it's time, but then it starts loading for another cutscene and when it finally comes on, it looks like the actual gameplay, the princess constantly gets captured or better yet gives herself up just to strech the game out, I know that it was in Super Mario Brothers for the NES, but it was 1985, this game was made in 2006, 21 years later, couldn't they think of something like saving more people. speaking of people the townspeople can be saying the shortest of scentences or even one word but their mouths are moving at the speed of light, and one cutscene with Sonic and the princcess, the princess looks at the camera with a creepy smile, and when you beat the game you have to do missions with other sonic charicters, the "game" also for the most part does everything for you and just has you press buttons, there are only short bursts of entertainment and thats while going fast, but the "game" has you fight enemies and Sonic locks on with a haming attack, which eliminates the satasfaction of jumping on a robot, overall this game is bad, dont play it.

I've seen many sonic fans trying to say this game is not bad, that it's an underrated sonic game. NO! No, it's not. This game is a rush, and heavily unfinished. The game's glitches and bugs are not funny, they are the type that makes the game irritating to play. You'll be fighting the camera more than the actual enemies in the game. Such as Shadow's boss fight with Silver. The story is both confusing and stupid. They did characters like Blaze, my favorite Sonic character completely dirty. Elise is a terrible character, one of the worst in the franchise. The whole thing with Elise's tears releasing Eblise is one of the dumbest things in the whole story. This game is so bad, I rather play Sonic Forces. The game is lack luster and is too short, at least with that game I can enjoy it better than this mess.
Did I spend money to play this or am I dreaming?

Am I hallucinating? I've never played such garbage.
The story makes no sense and it feels like the sum of all the terrible scenes from Kingdom Hearts (there's plenty). Soulless characters, no motivation, no feeling put in the development of anything in the plot.
The annoying girl's animations are good, but she's one of many characters. Everybody except her is terribly animated, both NPCs and main characters. Face and body movements look like they directly come from Sonic Adventure (which was terrible but also a 1998 game). Also, did the devs know that game animation requires blends to smoothly transition between an action and the other? Because I didn't saw any, another major flaw that contributed to make this "game" look more and more phisically wrong.
Now let's talk about gameplay. The big quesiton is: is there any? There are parts where you could leave the joystick and go make yourself a tea because you didn't need to do anything to progress through those terrible loops. All the rest is a cluster of terrible bugs, glitches, invisible walls, and boring mechanics to play with. The level design is unconsistent and unclear. Also there's a loading screen for everything, even for 3/4 lines of dialogue (not joking).
The only, and I really mean ONLY, people who somewhat deserved to be payed for this monstruosity of a product, are the dubbing actor for the princess and her animator. I can't stress enough how I couldn't see even a spark of originality and dedication in this project.

Number 1: the load of this game is slowly and this load make everyone that played this game make nervous

Number 3: amy is to garbage on this game (because she wonts more sonic than everyone on this life)
Number 4: the graphics are more garbage
Number 5: the new type of eggman is awful
Number 6: i don´t wanna say about the kiss
Number 7: backward languages
Number 8: the physics of this game is horrible
Number 9: what happens to blaze after the sacrifize (she allives because of the restart of the timeline or no?)
And the overall 4.8 verry bad game thank you sega from this.

Lets split this into categories
Soundtrack All of the music in this is amazing. Mentions to Crisis City, Solaris Phase 2 and All Hail Shadow. Basically this kept Sonic 06 from killing the franchise.
Characters Princess Elise isn't as bad as a character as everyone else thinks, she is quite attractive. Silver, on the other hand, is downright annoying. The boss battle awful. Gameplay awful. Music theme fine.
Story I actually enjoyed the story unlike everyone else.
So while this still is a bad game, it's not as bad as everyone else thinks. I hope a proper polished version of this gets ported to PlayStation Now soon.

Sonic 06 is like the worst anniversary adaptation ever in the history of video games.
But the plot is decent but Elise is a disgrace to all Sonic Females she literally kissed Sonic in the lips which is absolutely appalling Amy shoudve done it. Tge graphics and the character movement is very lazy and laggy it would be good if they did a remastered where they fix the game.

Ok let's be honest, this game was really bad. But there are some good things that came from this bad idea of a game. First off the soundtrack, HOLY JESUS this is a great soundtrack. The themes of Sonic and Silver are really good and the song used in the final cut scene in Shadow's story always pumps me up sometimes. Second, the main villain, Mephiles. He is the villain Infinite wished he was. And he is the first and possibly only person to have killed sonic successfully. He is honestly my favorite sonic villain yet, (apart from eggman of course). Third, a couple scenes have some badass in them. Don't worry I checked my pulse I'm still with us. A couple scenes from the game seemed really cool. One example would be the final cut scene in Shadow's story of course. Just watch it and you'll see why. But the flaws are godawful. Mostly Elise, she's just princess peach but worse and would let the world die rather than forget her lover. Yeah, that happens. After Sonic is killed and the chaos emeralds are found to revive him, the game just pulls a sleeping beauty and have Elise kiss sonic back to life. Then when the final boss is defeated, the flame of Solaris is supposed to be blown out so everything would go back to normal. But Elise refuses cause she'd forget about sonic. Luckily she realizes zoophilia is illegal and blows the fire away causing the game to be now no longer canon or something. Frankly, don't buy this game unless you're that curious as to how bad it is. The cons outweigh the pros like weighing a flower with a 10 ton weight
In my eyes this is the worst sonic game of all time and one of the worst games I have ever played too.

Ok we all know about how bad this game is. But does it deserve all the hate it gets? in my opinion yes. I have never played a game so broken and boring. A story that makes no sense and has loads of plot holes in it. Graphics that are unimpressive in game and only the FMV scenes look decent since character models in game look bad as well as the humans. Voice acting that is horrible, writing that is bad, characters that are unlikable spicily princess Elise who is useless and selfish. I could go on for ages about how bad it is. The gameplay is bad all around, the camera is really bad and never focuses on what's around you and going up against boss fights it hardly focuses on them. The controls are too sensitive and characters feel very slow, all the characters are unplayable and don't even get me started on the glitches, There are so many cheap deaths like falling through loops, hitting a spring and going through it then killing you. The loading times happen way to often and makes the game more of a chore to go through. The ending is really bad also because it makes you go through it for nothing making all the hours you spent pointless. The towns missions suck plus they are pointless, the game is also really long and has no replay value since the game/loading times drag the game down a lot. The only reason this game gets a two is because of the excellent soundtrack and the sound effects are fine. But these things are not enough to make a good game let alone acceptable. Hands down the game deserves all the hate it gets in my opinion it's the worst game in the entire series and I know there people out there that think labyrinth and genesis GBA are the worst. But Genesis GBA is just a bad port of sonic 1 that you can get a fixed version of. Labyrinth is pretty bad but at least the game was really short and you achieved something in the end since you get sonics shoes back. Overall this game is extremely bad and one that you should avoid at all costs unless you wanna see how bad it is.

I don't know why people are upset with this game but in my opinion, I think it has the most awesome storyline ever! Like some sonic games, it also has the best soundtrack ever.
It felt like a movie seeing and playing this game as a Sonic Hardcore fan. My favourite scene was when Sonic, Shadow and Sliver transformed into their super forms and fought Solarius. It looked so awesome :O
I liked the guy who played Memphis , his voice was so warming even for a bad guy and wanting to take over the world. Seriously he is a legend for a bad guy.
I honestly have no other words to say about this game, only to just play it and that this is one of my favourite Sonic games even if people won't agree.

A very lovely game! its very silly how people are hating on this and saying its glitchy! an underrated gem from 2006! at the time, the graphics were ahead of its time as the xbox 360 was the latest and greatest console! i was really blown away of dr eggman's human like character design! the creators obviously decided that he should lose some weight! its also lovely and very heartfelt that lacey chabert is not a mean character in this game (does gretchen wieners ring a bell?), she plays "princess elise" who has feelings for sonic!!! not to mention she's a human! ngl, i don't blame her LOL GREAT GAME.XX
