The “Amazing Spider-Man” babe and the “Eyes Wide Shut” stud, who have been starring in ‘Cabaret’ on Broadway together as of late, were in the house for “Queen of the Night” and looked fabulous as they posed for photos together.
Meanwhile, Emma recently told press that when it comes to her career she’s a bit overwhelmed with all of the blessings she’s received. ''It's been wonderful but it's also challenging and I'm going into places that I've never really allowed myself to go before with 'Birdman' and 'Cabaret'. I feel very lucky that I'm getting the opportunity to do it and I don't know how long that opportunity will last - I'm trying to learn as much as I possibly can in this time.

Some hit shows fade into the record books before quietly expiring. Not Cabaret, the revived revival that brought Alan Cumming back to Studio 54 last spring in the role of the Emcee that first won him a Tony Award in 1998 and ran 2,378 regular performances. Sienna Miller, a key player in two of the year’s most talked-about films— Foxcatcher and American Sniper — will play the jagged-edged Weimar-era chanteuse Sally Bowles for the show’s final six weeks, beginning February 17. The show, currently co-starring Linda Emond, Danny Burstein and Bill Heck, is scheduled to close on March 29 (but who knows?).
The Sam Mendes-Rob Marshall production for the Roundabout Theatre Company returned with Michelle Williams making her Broadway debut. Emma Stone, riding the wave of brilliant notices for her role as Michael Keaton’s truth-telling daughter in Birdman, took over and proved to be a superb foil for Cumming in her Broadway bow.

Exclusive: It’s impossible to ignore Emma Stone’s eyes. At least until she begins speaking, but we’ll get to that. First, not to be reductive, but jeepers, creepers. Even, or especially, on a crummy December day, in office lighting at the taste-free conference room where we’ve met, them there eyes make me wonder: Are these the uncredited models for Tim Burton’s Big Eyes? No, those Keane urchins are all pupil, while Stone is all iris, heather blue leaning toward green.
Obviously, the camera loves them: Check out any scene in Birdman, where she plays Sam, the seen-it-all-including-rehab daughter of Michael Keaton, a washed-up movie star desperate to make a comeback in a serious Broadway play. Those eyes play altogether different roles in Sam’s scenes with Keaton, on the one hand, and Edward Norton’s strutting cock-o’-the-walk actor, on the other: In the former, they...

Some 17 Sally Bowleses painted their nails green and sang “Maybe This Time” for the Sam Mendes revisal of Cabaret that ran on Broadway from March 1998 (Natasha Richardson) through January 2004 (Susan Egan). No doubt the Roundabout, which mounted that revisal, as well as the current revival of the revisal, hopes to keep the Kit Kat Klub door revolving. They started this spring with Michelle Williams, who was thrillingly emotional in the part, and have now moved on to Emma Stone, who reportedly had been their first choice. Even aside from Stone’s commercial appeal, you can see why: With her extraordinary face and Mona Lisa smile, her huge celadon eyes and coppery bob, she arrives prepackaged with the kind of remote fascination a Sally Bowles needs. And indeed, she looks terrific as the none-too-bright young thing in William Ivey Long’s pastel frocks and diaphanous lingerie. What fun! you think as...

Shia Labeouf is getting candid about a painful experience he had during his #IAmSorry performance art project. In a new email interview with Dazed, Shia reportedly said a woman raped him at the exhibit in February: One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me… There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well. On top of that my girl was in line to see me, because it was Valentine's Day and I was living in the gallery for the duration of the event – we were separated for five days, no communication. So it really hurt her as well, as I guess the news of it travelled through the line.

Emma Stone is getting rave reviews as Sally Bowles in the hit revival of "Cabaret." The “Amazing-Spider Man” actress took over the role from Michelle Williams despite having no stage experience, but is living up to everyone’s expectations. Emma, who understandably had some first-night jitters, reportedly killed her performance according to audience members and her co-stars. The star received a standing ovation and a boutique of flowers, leaving her teary eyed during the musicals curtain call. "When it comes to her big numbers she delivers. 'Maybe This Time' locates the vulnerability inside the camp, and Stone gives a bravura performance of the title song, at once defiant, pathetic and heroic," The Guardian wrote of Emma’s performance. “Despite her inexperience on stage, Stone has done as much as anyone in the cast to make the audience experience that transition, in a performance that was anything but cabaret.

Making the jump from screen to stage, Emma Stone kicked off her run in the Broadway production of “Cabaret” on Tuesday night (November 11).
The “Easy A” star was visibly emotional as she bowed for the crowd alongside costar Alan Cumming during the curtain call.
And though she definitely came off a bit of a newbie, audience members overwhelmingly praised Stone for her work on stage.
One theatergoer tweeted, “Emma Stone visibly has the first-show jitters but she is killing it in @Cabaret_Musical. Charm incarnate! The crowd is insane for her.”
Of the gig, Emma previously told press, “Honestly, I’m having the time of my life. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s the most fun I’ve ever had. So it’s one of those. I guess this is what being a parent might be like but without the child part.”...
