The Twilight Saga may have been a shamefully terrible chapter in teen-targeted cinema, but the series did act as a launch-pad for multiple actors and actresses, most notably Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed. Greene has demonstrated considerable acting talent in projects like Cbgb and ABC’s short-lived Pan Am, while Reed was one of the best parts of recent action fare like Catch .44 and Empire State. Greene already made her bid to become a Hollywood scream queen with 2012 flop The Apparition, and now, it’s Reed’s chance. The actress has just signed on to topline a Singapore-set horror film called Email, which will start shooting on location in Singapore this May.
Singaporean director Kelvin Tong will helm the flick for Spj Enterprises, a production company also based out of Singapore. Tong previously directed The Maid, which was widely considered to be one of the country’s first horror...

While I'm still trying to figure out just why I'm getting e-mails from No Sender dated 12/31/69 every day, there are others who are going through a great deal more than I am when it comes to EMail. Take Twilight's Nikki Reed for instance...
Reed (pictured) will star in director Kelvin Tong’s (Rule #1) suspenseful new horror film, Email, which is being produced by Spj Enterprises, zgreen entertainment, and Boku Films. Peter Poon and Zachary Green are producing along with Leon Tong and Kat Goh in Singapore.
Jason Shuman, who produced such horror hits as The Messengers and Darkness Falls, will be executive producing with Lauren Selig. Principal photography is set to begin May 2014 in Singapore, and Highland Film Group (Hfg) will handle worldwide sales and introduce the title to buyers at Efm in Berlin.

If you’ve been hanging around Beyond Hollywood for any length of time, then you’ve probably heard me talk about Fatal Pictures and their seriously badass short films. Created by producer Zach Green and writer/director Richard Powell, the company has already proven they’re a force to be reckoned with. In a relatively short amount of time, the duo have managed to set themselves apart from the herd, crafting tense, visually impressive horror films that achieve more in 20 minutes than most can accomplish in two hours. Zach Green is an extremely kind and phenomenally patient individual, and he was gracious enough to answer some of my questions about his films, frequent collaborator Robert Nolan, and what’s in store for the company’s future. Tell me a little about yourself. What made you want to start making films? I first went to film school for Post Production (editing...

Dust & Glory Ltd have partnered with American-based Blue Star Entertainment to produce Australian adventure film Dust and Glory. The deal was brought together by associate producer Zach Green, who has worked with both companies in the past.
The film, based on the Evan Green novel of the same name, is the story of the 1950s Redex off road trials, covering 10,000 miles around Australia and focused on the rivalry between an American hotshot and an Australian legend.
The film is written by Robert Galinsky (Prey) and produced by Galinsky, Elizabeth Howatt-Jackman (Hating Alison Ashley, Prey) and David Parker (Malcolm, The Big Steal, Matching Jack) with executive producer Geoffrey Edelsten.
Blue Star recently produced Role Models, Middle Men and Bangkok Dangerous as well as Darkness Falls, shot in Australia.
Blue Star’s Jason Shuman said in a statement “This is a fantastic script and a great story combining two things I love,...

Fatal Pictures sent out the one sheet for their newest short, the deceptively titled "Familiar."
The film is about what happens when you start to ignore your conscience, your inner voice, and begin to doubt the intentions of your own soul.
The poster, which to me feels like a David Cronenberg version of the Captain America one sheet, is hard to ignore. Its simple composition says little but is so damned dripping with menace that it is practically daring you to watch it.
Expect more details from Fatal Pictures and producer Zach Green and writer/director Richar Powell at MoreHorror. When we know, you'll know.
There's no trailer yet available for this film, but you can check out the official one sheet below.

The much-praised, indie horror Familiar from director Richard Powell and Cinematography and Co-Producer: Michael Jari Davidson has a new one-sheet, as producer Zach Green has kindly sent it over to us.
Produced by Fatal Pictures, the flick concerns: Through a series of tragic events a middle aged man grows to suspect the negative impulses plaguing his mind may not be his own.
Check out the new one-sheet. Here’s hoping we receive more news on this seemingly brutal bad boy.

What is that inner voice that guides us through our daily lives? Some say it's your conscience, some say it's your soul. Regardless of where that voice comes from, writer-director Richard Powell has created a horrific vision as to what may happen if you ignore what that voice is saying to you with his new film Familiar.
From Fatal Pictures, produced by Zach Green and featuring Robert Nolan in the self-loathing starring role, Familiar is a psychological mind-freak. Through a series of tragic events Nolan's middle-aged main character grows to suspect the negative impulses plaguing his mind may not be his own, with hideous results. And bringing those horrific images to life was the immensely talented F/X team of Ryan Louagie, Carlos Henriques and Steven Dawley, collectively known as The Butcher Shop.
