not "horror" but very disturbing, especially since its based on a true story. "the girl next door" is a lot like this, but much more brutal.

Like "an american crime" but much more violent and harsh. I honestly felt bad for the girl. The book is much better. but the movie does give it justice.

The transitions of the four main characters are haunting. especially the mom. This movie definitely makes you want to stay far away from drugs. and plus, jared leto is one hot junkie.

The only thing about this movie is theres almost legit porn scenes with what are supposed to be young teenagers, although when a lot of talk went around it turns out all the actors who participated in the sex scenes are in fact over 18.

Dont ask me why, but I absolutely love this movie. just the fact that theres most likely people like this out there. with no real plot, the movie paints an interesting picture of a tornado struck ohio town and its hillbilly residents to say the least. plus lots of weird music.

Did not expect this at all when I first watched the film. I expected the supposed protagonist to live much longer then she did. it shocked me in a way that i really liked. some goofs, but all in all a great story line
