It's a Saturday morning and I came across this flick on the Pixl channel as a sneak peak and decided to watch while cleaning. I found myself getting sucked in and continuously going back to the synopsis to clarify. You see, this movie about Jordan (Jordy) and her relationship to Peter and Matt. Peter is her fiancée whom she is set to marry and Matt is the big time celebrity who she actually did marry after her Vegas bachelorette party. The great thing about this plot is that it did go against the grain a little, but ultimately it left you feeling like you been duped. Sure, Matt Damon did it, but his wife is actually pretty. Kellie Martin's acting is good enough, but looks need to be considered when going up against Ethan Erickson. She ends up looking like Matt Swifts long lost, much older sister. If you want a movie to work, the relationship needs to be believable. We are supposed to be rooting for Matt and Jordan, but ultimately, I just wanted them to reveal their true ages.

I prefer movies that make me think. I had to think a lot with this movie when I saw it last night. I kept telling my roomie...this is a hard movie to understand. This is a very interesting take of time travel itself. That is ultimately what got me to sit through this movie.

I recommend this movie if you want something other than fluff. It is interesting and it is deep. However, you should realize this is not a movie that was made for the theaters. Unfortunately, you have to ignore the Forrest Gump wannabe or simply take him with a grain of salt. I didn't care for many of the supporting characters and would have preferred other people but it wasn't my choice. I will say a lot of the characters you have to grin and bear.

Overall, the acting was good. It could have been better.

Everything does come together at the end in a very nice "Aha!" moment. Do your best to sit through the end and you will get it all.

You know, after the whole Roswell and X Files debacle I really wasn't all too interested about the "alien" television show. The aforementioned shows were good but they were definitely lacking.

I personally think Kyle XY has found the *it* factor.

Imagine taking a 17 year old kid who is from a different country and is suddenly plunked down in the middle of America with no means of communication. Well then, you've got Kyle. He is about as strange as they come. A human shaped being and no belly button and no information to draw from as to how to interact with other beings.

Now it would be boring to just watch a show about a kid who is seemingly another life form and doesn't know how to communicate, just as it would be boring to watch a foreign exchange student during your lunch period right before chem class. The interesting thing about this show is that the voice overs done by Kyle walks the audience through his emotions and his thoughts as he is remembering his first days as a human.

It is the most beautiful experience; almost as if you looking at the world through a newborn's eyes. You see what they see and you hear what their first thoughts were. Beautiful.

Since ABC doesn't really have a good Friday line up coming in the Fall, I'd like them to keep this show around to see what comes of it. It sucks you in with wondering what Kyle is.

How many times have you looked at action movies of the past and thought, "Why can't they make something like this? Something that is not too over the top and hits home right away?" I have thought about this many times. I have many favorite action stars but there is none that will top the list like the star of Die Hard. You see, just when you think his days of action star/hero have past him by he cranks out the best yet again.

Willis stars as Jeff Talley. The Chief of Police in a secluded town who is plagued by his past mistakes as LAPD Negotiator. Past mistakes that left the blood on his hands. Talley is taken back to that past when three teen boys led by Jonathan Tucker as Dennis hold a family hostage after plans to steal a car go bad. However, Dennis and his brother have no idea the secret Walter Smith, the father of this family holds. Nor do the know the secret of their new traveling buddy Mars.

After seeing one of his own officers gunned down, Talley turns over command to the County Sheriffs Department. On his way home, Walter Smith's secret friend urge him to turn around and regain control of this situation. Their leverage: Jeff Talley's wife and daughter. This puts Jeff Talley in a bit of a predicament. How does he save his wife and daughter without losing the lives of the hostages? Herein lies the beautiful action of the movie so grab your seat and hang on for the ride.

This is a film with superb acting from Bruce Willis to his own daughter Rumer Willis to Jimmy Bennett whose shrieks during the film rivaled my own. The special effects were wonderful.

And just a side note for all you young girls out there: Do not bond with a psychopathic killer.

Again, I am fully awed by Miss Jenna Malone and Miss Mandy Moore. They are always choosing roles that mean something rather than fall into the category of meaningless drivel as some younger actresses do.

Saved! is a movie about young people coping with their lives and choices they have made all the while trying to understand their faith. This is not a movie about finding your faith or love in Jesus Christ. This is a movie about coming to terms with your faith and the fact that you are human and will make mistakes from time to time.

This movie itself is centered in a Christina High School and around the popular kids and the outcasts. When Mary (Jenna Malone) becomes pregnant she finds her life spiraling out of control and realizes her faith might not mean anything at all. When admitting her feelings the people she thought she could lean on throughout her hard times, her best friend Hilary Faye (Mandy Moore) turns against her and sees her as someone who needs to be prayed for. She then finds herself turning to unlikely persons and ultimately benefiting from their friendship.

Some may see this movie as too heavy with religion or even mocking religion. But this, to me, is a movie that draws a picture to everything I was feeling when I first saw my faith challenged. These characters are in our lives every day. Maybe they are not as extreme but they are still there. The message of this movie is crystal clear, but if you are still trying to get over the *This is a Christian Movie Hump* then you might not catch it.
