Jenny Porter, a young economist has been contracted by a investor, Robert Grant Emerson for the evaluation of a wool factory in the Hudson Valley Highlands.Jenny communicates with Robert only by emails.Robert has decided to shadow Jenny in her job,: so they meet together several times, when Robert asks for a sandwich and a fruit juice in the snack bar in the road,then near the factory.When Jenny arrives at the factory the secretary doesn't appreciate her very much, Mrs Ruth seems to live in another world, Philipp Dalmain is more interested in a bookstore, but Jenny manages to become friend of Gwen Dalmain, a young woman who has to take care of her mother Ruth, but has talent for the design of clothes and the use of the wool. Little by little Jenny feels well with Robert till the moment of truth has come. She feels a great deception.Also her relationship with her fiance is in crisis. Will she manage to save the family business of the Dalmain ? An interesting story in beautiful landscapes !!
