Meaningless

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this film today at the Munich film festival. I am sorry to say, that the film did not evoke any feelings. It contained a couple of still shots of Buenos Aires, that were shortly enjoyable, but still without any feelings. The following may be considered a spoiler: the plot is totally meaningless, if not to say, absent. The protagonists are seem to be confused by the filming process. Making an effort in trying to find something positive about the film: let it be a documentary. Then the film stills lacks a whole deal - either a research on a topic, or a statement.

The reaction to the film can be summarized: OK, there are cartoneros, OK, there are transvestites and teenagers who go to the same disco, OK, there are naiive youth who paint useless graffiti.

Or should it have been: look, how poor people live there, look, what a sad life this transvestite has, and look at these teens that do not have a life, and look, there is corruption in the world and these youth fight corruption with their graffiti? Neither, I think, that should have been the message, nor did it come through the film.

The music in the film was quite good, but what does it have to do with Buenos Aires? Sorry, a poor movie, and not about Buenos Aires
