Tempers boil over, lots of laughs.

Neptune's hosts a quiz night, and The Oracle expects to win. Gavin refuses to believe Troy's story about being ravaged by Matteo, and Geoff has an outburst on stage.

Great episode, it's just so funny, it was so naughty back in the day, language and words they'd never get away with using now. This was around the final year before things tightened up.

Donald is side splitting throughout, his quiz answers are a joy to behold, didn't we do a film with her???

I love that Michael is the cleverest character of the lot, poor Jeff.

I can't believe the job that Siobhan Finneran does, Janice is such a hard faced, common

Fascinating to think how the value of the pound against The Euro has changed with time, it's almost one to one these days.

I love they The Oracle is using an Inoxcrom fountain pen, a traditional Spanish brandy, really nice pens.

Very funny.

8/10.

The penultimate episode of the first series of Benidorm sees some truths getting revealed.

Troy tells his boyfriend Gavin that it was Mateo who ravaged him. Something Gavin finds hard to believe.

Meanwhile Geoff Maltby is getting rather heated preparing for the pub quiz at the hotel bar. The unbeaten pub quiz champion of Lancashire is feeling the pressure for what should be a fun time for all.

It was obvious that the Garvey family would win the quiz. Geoff's meltdown was a bit of a shock, no wonder his mother wanted to give him his medication.

The shocker was Geoff blurting out with whoever Mateo was getting it on with.

I did like Martin's response and the fallout from all this would be fun.
