Eiffel (2021)
1/10
Cliché, repetitive love story where the Eiffel tower plays a second role
24 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is probably the worst movie I've watched or at least payed to watch in a cinema.

The movie is full of unresolved lines, like for example, Eiffel gets his funds cut off by the Parisian committee, to which he says in an angry reaction "close all my accounts". His accountant asks him "how are you going to fund it?" Next scene is him promising a double in salary to all the workers. Next scene he's a hero and everyone's clapping. Next scene they're all happily working. And soon enough, the tower is finished and you don't get an explanation of how it was paid for.

And like that, there's a ton of inconsistencies.

If it wasn't only for that, the movie is also bad because it focuses on a love story that has nothing to offer. Poor boy loved rich girl. Rich girl loves poor boy. Rich girl wants to marry poor boy. Daddy says no. Rich girl is upset and is to marry rich man. And so on.

Honestly I'm so disappointed in this movie I can't even bother to write more of why it's bad lol.
