SPOILER. The scene with her awaiting the guillotine is memorable. Her acting over shadowed Colman. She deserved some kind of award for it. Maybe it's the violins, but that scene always chokes me up, because she portrays convincingly a little nobody who go caught in the mad hysteria of the revolution. No other of the same scenes in other versions even come close.
