8/10
Not as good as the L'il Quinquin, but close.

This Coincoin miniseries was a good watch and delivered on the comedy and social aspects but was not as engaging as the first series Quinquin. Maybe because the characters were fresher and younger in the first and in Cooincoin they are all about 8-10 years older maybe. The grownups don't change that much over time but the kids all did a lot. They're all now very late teens early 20's maybe. The premise of the series also lacked some credibility and reality where the first series was more mysterious and believable and the detectives had more of a road map to move the plot along where Coincoin was more fantastical, with aliens, and way more hi-jinx and slap stick, yet explored society and social subjects deeper, but still in that subliminal metaphorical way. I liked the series as a whole and watched till the end but would have liked it to be a little more centered and endearing as the first. You can only watch driving on two wheels so many times and it loses its effect.
