Pocoyo (2005– )
Pocoyo is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
25 April 2006
I saw Pocoyo the other day on CITV and it was BRILLIANT! The one I saw was the one with "Super Pocoyo", who refused to answer to Steven Fry when he said, "Hello Pocoyo", to which Pocoyo replied, "Mm". I think that this is the only good cartoon kiddy show to be shown on ITV since the glory days of Tots TV (which was CLASS). Overall, I think Pocoyo should be upgraded to a primetime slot on ITV1 in place of Ant and Dec as the host of Saturday Night Takeaway. Well done on a blistering career Pocoyo, and long may your reign of disturbing blueness continue. I also like your weird mates, including the bird who can twist his beak 360 degrees.

My Name Is Earl (2005–2009)
this is the best show on British TV-and its American
6 April 2006
I am from England and the first series of "My Name Is Earl" is in the middle of its run on TV. Over here we get a lot of American shows and not many new British ones. This show is better than the last 5 new British comedies. The cast is really solid, especially Jason Lee, who also gives good narrative over the show. The karma format is really strong and leads to a lot of really funny plots, jokes, etc.- all in all I think this show is one of the best I have seen in the past 5 years-except for Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Scrubs and Two and a Half Men. It's only flaw is that Channel 4 (who show it here) put it on too late.
