Starring Emma Thomson and Hugh Jackman, Three Bags Full has been penned by Craig Mazin, the creator of last year’s huge success, The Last Of Us.
Here’s a project that comes from the mind behind The Last Of Us and Chernobyl, two of the most celebrated TV shows of the last few years. Screenwriter and creator Craig Mazin has built himself a reputation for delivering quality on the small screen, and he’s also penned a ‘weird’ Pirates Of The Caribbean script that producer Jerry Bruckheimer seems very taken with. But it seems that for his latest project, Mazin is headed to pastures new. Pastures filled with sheep.
Thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, it has been revealed that Mazin has penned the script for Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie. Amazon MGM is baaaaa-cking the project (sorry) and no less than Emma Thompson and Hugh Jackman have signed up to star.

Stars: DeWanda Wise, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, Betty Buckley, Tom Payne, Veronica Falcon | Written by Jeff Wadlow, Greg Erb, Jason Oremland | Directed by Jeff Wadlow
Produced by BlumHouse and directed by Jeff Wadlow (Fantasy Island), Imaginary is a solidly entertaining Friday night horror flick that does a decent job with its premise. It may not deliver any really big scares (at least not if you’re not frightened of bears or spiders), but it’s consistently creepy and tense and Wadlow pulls off a couple of neat twists.
DeWanda Wise plays Jessica, a children’s book author and illustrator who has recently married musician Max (Tom Payne) and become stepmother to his two daughters, stroppy teenager Taylor (Taegen Burns) and six year-old Alice (Pyper Braun). When the family move into Jessica’s old family home, Alice finds an old teddy bear in the basement and quickly turns him into her imaginary friend,...

Want to take an island vacation this summer? All six seasons of Lost are returning to Netflix in the US on July 1, giving die-hard fans and newcomers alike a chance to enjoy the mind-bending drama all over again. The series originally ran from 2004 to 2010, premiering just days before Desperate Housewives and a few months before Grey’s Anatomy. It became an immediate hit, and it all came from an executive named Lloyd Braun sitting on a beach in Hawaii, thinking of ways to turn his vacation into a TV show. Inspired by the Tom Hanks movie Cast Away and the massive, game-changing reality competition series Survivor, Braun came up with a title — Lost — and a vague concept of plane crash survivors and total strangers learning to survive together while leaving their pasts behind.

With the Fallout TV series, even non-gamers are getting acquainted with the post-apocalyptic universe. By the looks of the reception, they’re loving it, and by now, they’ve probably begun researching the universe to understand it better.
The series accurately depicts the world after The Great War. One of the interesting details is the accuracy of Vault 33. Lucy, the protagonist, belongs to this Vault, while her father Hank is its overseer. But these Vaults weren’t just survival shelters; many of them were a means for experimentation and transcended what people call normal.

The elected individuals don’t have anything to celebrate.
Politicians’ worst nightmare might be showcased in Fallout: New Vegas. They certainly wouldn’t want the vote of any of the dwellers in Vault 11. It’ll eventually be their last election if they win.

Our coveted couple is at odds with each other yet again.

While the guys got sucked into locating Ms. Patty on Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 Episode 5, Nikki and Mike were at odds with each other because of a secret she and Jason are harboring.
It's just another day with the Mpu, right?
Ms. Patty was a fiery old broad, and she was fun to watch. She didn't take to someone holding her captive too well. She had a witty one-liner for her captors and was rarely intimidated.
She damn near dared them to shoot her a few times. And when they did, she handled it like a "G," to steal from Jason Grant.

What is Hollis Braun hiding?
The Mpu's antagonist is actually and potentially an all-around antagonist of the final moments of Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 2 Episode 3 is any indication.
At the forefront of the hour, we had the Mpu investigating the disappearance of a pregnant woman who was supposed to be giving her daughter up for adoption.
However, there were a lot of work moves beneath the surface that suggested that Braun is the Mpu's chess master and that he has a larger plan in mind.
Life is going well for Nikki Batista and Mike, which was evident by the release of their wedding invitations.
Is there a hint of some possible friction down the road regarding children?
Let's start this review by asking: Does Nikki feel sidelined within her own series?
Considering how strong of an opening she had during Alert: Missing Persons Season 1 Episode 1, it was surprising that...

Scooter Braun is stepping up his efforts to help the people affected by the Oct. 7th terrorist attacks in Israel and Palestinians suffering from the devastating war in Gaza, with the music mogul keen to stress “you can do two things,” by helping both groups.
The Hybe-America CEO posted a lengthy video on Instagram on Wednesday night that outlined his plans to work with humanitarian agency Care International and the Hostages and Missing Families Forum in Israel, personally donating a total of $200,000 to get much-needed financial support to the people most acutely impacted by the ongoing conflict.
Braun said he, along with his Palestinian-American friend Nasim and Scott Budnik, will be kicking off the Care Together campaign with Care.org next week and that he would be personally donating $100,000. The campaign, Braun says, “will help 200 Palestinian families with sustainable help in this time of need.”

The Curse of Bridge Hollow and Fantasy Island director Jeff Wadlow’s Imaginary adheres to the time-honored tradition of transforming make-believe childhood pals into sinister manifestations that torment their abandoners. Here, a cuddly teddy bear named Chauncey harbors dangerous resentment for being forgotten, igniting a wave of terror for an unsuspecting family. If only that terror extended to the audience experience.
A cold open teases the monstrous imaginary friend via nightmare sequence before introducing the central family unit. Jessica (DeWanda Wise), along with her husband (Tom Payne) and stepchildren Taylor (Taegen Burns) and Alice (Pyper Braun), relocate from their hectic New Orleans apartment to Jessica’s childhood home in the suburbs. Typical growing pains and adjusting to a new town are compounded by dark family histories. Then Alice finds a cute teddy bear named Chauncey in the basement, which will force Jessica to confront painful memories when Alice starts behaving strangely.

Following the outsized PG-13 success of both M3gan with its frightening robotic doll and then Five Nights at Freddy’s with its animatronic rock band, Blumhouse has now settled on a familiar childhood companion, a seemingly innocent stuffed bear named Chauncey, to deliver carefully calculated chills in Imaginary. It is a formula that sheds the R-rated explicitness from the horror genre, something Blumhouse knows well, and makes it more palatable for a younger audience not just in ratcheting down the bloodletting, but also in bringing it to a level kids might relate to. And what better than putting familiar playthings at the center of the action, in every case guaranteed to stir up our demons and make us jump out of our seats.

The 2007 John C. Reilly comedy Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story has become a cult hit in recent years, largely as a result of the skill with which it dissects and eviscerates the genre it satirizes.
The film so deftly laid bare the tropes and cliches of the rock star biopic that many predicted it would forever change the way filmmakers approached stories about dead celebs.
And for a while, it seemed like the trick had worked.
Leaving aside for a moment any discussion about the quality of these films, there's no denying that Elvis, Blonde, Maestro, Jackie, Priscilla, and Oppenheimer all offered new takes on a very familiar subgenre.
(That last one, admittedly, is a bit of an outlier, as we're not sure if a theoretical physicist -- even one who altered the course of world history -- can properly be called a celebrity.)

One Of Succession's Greatest Monsters Is Playing The Beloved Creator Of The Muppets In The SNL Movie
Jim Henson was a creative force of nature whose singular creative achievement continues to enchant adults and children alike 34 years after his tragically untimely death. Indeed, whether they're teaching us to count or goofing around with flesh-and-blood movie stars, we need the Muppets now more than ever. They're felt, furry joy machines that reflect their creator's humanistic vision of the world.
So if you find yourself tasked with portraying Henson in a film about the mid-1970s creation of "Saturday Night Live," you might want to cast an actor whose previous characters have embodied these noble qualities. If so, you might not immediately think of Nicholas Braun.
Best known for his portrayal of the clumsily conniving Cousin Greg on Jesse Armstrong's scathingly funny corporate media satire "Succession," Braun's characters tend to make our skin crawl. Okay, he was adorable as Zack Attack in "Sky High," but that was...

It’s been 20 years since Jeff Wadlow began his career in the entertainment industry, and he’s since created a name for himself as a highly reliable Swiss army knife. He can write, direct and produce across film and television, and he also has the added reputation of being an “idea guy.” When his career was at a crossroads in the early 2010s, he wrote his way out of it and sold spec scripts for what would become Kick-Ass 2 (2013) and Bloodshot (2020). And throughout the 2010s, whenever his next movie needed a bit of time to get off the ground, he’d put on his writer hat and join Carlton Cuse’s writers’ rooms for Bates Motel and The Strain.

But the Jason Grant situation—I know you two have history, but he’s a lawsuit waiting to happen,” Braun says of Scott Caan‘s character. “Jason Grant is also the best cop in Philly,” Nikki argues. “My team, all of us, we focus on getting the job done.” Watch the full...

Fans of BTS have pleaded with the K-pop band’s management company Hybe to fire Scooter Braun, the CEO of Hybe-America, for his pro-Israel views amid the war in Gaza.
The Korea Times reported Wednesday that some BTS fans, commonly known as the Army, reacted to a speech Braun delivered in Israel in December that called for the return of the hostages taken during the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas.
On Feb. 23, according to local media reports, a group of BTS fans hired an electronic billboard truck and sent it to Hybe’s headquarters in central Seoul. “Korean and International Army demand Hybe divests from Zionism and Zionists in the industry,” the message displayed on the truck said in both English and Korean alongside clips of devastation from the war in Gaza.
The message continued, “If our demands are not met, Army will continue to push for you to meet our demands.

The 40th edition of Sundance proved that despite corporate consolidation, there is still a market for independently made documentaries. While there haven’t been many sales so far, there has been strong buyer interest in two celeb-focused docs — “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” and “Will & Harper,” featuring Will Ferrell — and healthy interest in others.
“The market didn’t have a pulse six months ago,” says Submarine Entertainment sales agent Josh Braun, who came to the festival with nine documentaries seeking distribution, including “Daughters,” “Gaucho Gaucho” and “Union.” “So there was a reason to be a little bit fearful coming into Sundance. Country star Morgan Wallen today unexpectedly released a new recording of his 2015 track called “Spin You Around (1/24),” following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift in an attempt to overshadow what the artists thinks are earlier and inferior versions released by former business partners and current rights holders.

The 2023 Emmy Awards have finally arrived after months of delay, and TV’s biggest night will finally celebrate the seasons that aired from June 2022 to May 2023 — with FX/Hulu’s The Bear taking an early lead with five wins.
Fresh off his recent wins at the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards, Jeremy Allen White won his first Emmy for best actor in a comedy series. “I’m so full of gratitude to be standing in front of you all,” said White. “I love the show so much. It filled me up. It gave me a passion and set a fire in me to match the beautiful work done by [showrunners] Christopher Storer and Joanna Calo.”
Dead to Me star (and best actress in a comedy series nominee) Christina Applegate received an early standing ovation when presenting the supporting actress in a comedy series category. “Oh my God, you’re...

Seems like Matthew Macfadyen has his plate pretty full.
While accepting his Emmy award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series on Monday, the Succession star thanked his “on-screen wife” Sarah Snook, his “other on-screen wife” Nicholas Braun and his actual wife, actress Keeley Hawes, much to the amusement of the Emmy Awards audience.
Macfadyen also thanked “the Television Academy, the entire Succession family. Directors, writers, producers, cast and crew, our peerless crew, every department, often unsung, always brilliant.”
In the smash-hit HBO series, Macfadyen is Tom Wambsgans, an executive at Waystar — the Roy family’s global media conglomerate. Tom’s aforementioned “wife” is Roy sibling Shiv (Snook), while the “other on-screen wife” Braun plays the much-maligned Cousin Greg.
Macfadyen also won in an Emmy in this category in 2022, and earlier this month he won a Golden Globe. He is also nominated for a SAG...

Who is going through a bad case of Succession withdrawal?
As we await the next big thing from Succession creator Jesse Armstrong, we all pine for a spin-off surrounding any of the characters. That said, the future adventures of Nicholas Braun’s cousin Greg would be damn funny.
“I’ve never heard that, I didn’t know anybody was looking for that!” Braun told us on the Emmy red carpet tonight; the actor up was for his third supporting actor in a drama series Emmy nom, however, his fellow series rival Matthew Macfadyen just won at the time of this post. Macfadyen thanked Braun onstage who he referred to as his “second on-screen wife”.
“I’m just joking,” said Braun about the idea of a spinoff around his goofy scion, “It’s only mentioned to me a hundred times.”
If there was a Greg spin-off, Braun asserts he “would do it.

When you’re hot, you’re hot, and Matthew Macfadyen — as himself and in character — is on fire.
The “Succession” star took home his second Emmy Award Monday night, winning the category for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama series. Macfadyen has been nominated for an Emmy three times for his portrayal of Tom Wambsgans on the HBO drama. He first won in 2022, and in the past eight days, he’s won a second Emmy, earned a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination, and taken home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.
As fans of “Succession” already know (and spoiler alert for those who don’t), his character also ended up as the CEO of Waystar Royco — out-maneuvering his wife, Shiv (Sarah Snook), her brothers Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Kendall (Jeremy Strong), as well as the many other aspiring kings new boss Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) was considering. While it...
