Was that the best hour of the series since the Interview with the Vampire Season 1 Episode 1?
It very well may have been, as the foray back to 1970s San Francisco unlocked some core memories for Louis and Daniel that could change everything for them.
Interview with the Vampire Season 2 Episode 5 was a game-changer in many ways.
It set us up for the final few hours of the series, which are poised to be crushing and invigorating.
Daniel’s been battling with faint memories from his time with Louis and Armand in San Francisco for some time, never quite able to fully tap into what they meant and the circumstances behind them.
And he’s been reluctant to broach the topic, but listening to his recordings from that evening spurred him into action, especially when he had the opportunity to get Louis alone.
Daniel’s always been in a unique position.

Let the race begin. Deadliest Catch is back for a landmark 20th season. Alaska has opened the lucrative red king crab fishery for the first time, igniting the kind of derby-style race that hasn’t been seen for decades. Tough-as-nails fishermen will have just a short window to bring in a make-or-break haul of crab. But everything from personal health challenges to severe weather threatens their chances of success.
“This is more than just fishing to make money,” says Captain Sig Hansen in a teaser (via YouTube) for the season. “It’s a race against time.”

The stakes are high for Season 20 of Deadliest Catch as the Red King Crab fishery reopens in Alaska. With millions of slurs potentially on the line, captains are in a battle against time and other fishermen in a competitive derby-style race. It’s an environment Captain Sig Hansen is all too familiar with as fans following him on the show since its inception. Bringing even more nostalgia to the start of the milestone year is having Jake Anderson aboard the F/V Northwestern again. Hansen extended the olive branch when Anderson found himself a man without a vessel days before the season was set to begin. His protege lost the F/V Saga, which he captained for a decade and held an ownership stake in after honing his skills on the Northwestern almost 18 years ago. We caught up with Hansen to reflect on the longevity of the show and the...

In 1960, Kirk Douglas had helped to break the Hollywood Blacklist with "Spartacus" by publicly crediting then-blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo as the screenwriter. But in 1969, he found himself working with a director who had been anything but helpful to his Hollywood colleagues during the height of McCarthyism. Sadly, this team-up between Douglas and director Elia Kazan also had the unfortunate distinction of being one of the Greek-American filmmaker's most derided films.
"The Arrangement" currently has a 15% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which should tell you pretty much all you need to know about how this ill-fated drama was received upon release. The film is an adaptation of Kazan's own 1967 novel of the same name and follows LA advertising executive Evangelos Topouzoglou/Eddie Anderson (Douglas) as he endures a protracted nervous breakdown (which is what watching this incredible trailer feels like). Critics at the time were merciless with their condemnation of Kazan's film,...

Judge Juan Merchan of the Donald Trump hush money case alerted Trump’s lawyer and Manhattan prosecutors of a Facebook user who seemingly revealed the jury’s verdict before it was announced. The user, named Michael Anderson, claimed he was a cousin of one of the jurors and posted his reaction to the trial on the social media platform.
“My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted,” Anderson wrote. “Thank you folks for all your hard work!”
Merchan explained the situation in a letter to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and Todd Blanche, Trump’s attorney. On May 30, a 12-person jury found the former president guilty on all 34 counts of fraud related to the alleged affair with Stormy Daniels. The historic verdict made Trump the first former president to become a convicted felon.
The original post from Anderson was marked as “old week old” according to Merchan’s letter.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson’s The X Files is widely regarded as one of the best-ever shows created and aired on Fox. Even today, after around half a decade since its eleventh and final season aired in 2018, the 218-episode-long mystery/thriller drama series doesn’t cease to amuse its viewers with all the incredible storylines the writers and showrunners curated.

But not many know that there was once a time when all of that drama, mystery, and sci-fi thrills almost didn’t happen. This was because the media broadcasting company wasn’t originally looking for such genre projects at the time, and thus, it almost ended up making a disastrous call for this masterpiece series that has been loved by 93% of Google users to date.

Famed for his portrayal of FBI agent Fox Mulder, David Duchovny has branched off into quite a few successful stints as an actor, writer, musician, and producer. In his latest tryst with fate, the X-Files actor kick-started his podcast Fail Better. In a reflection of his trials and missteps, his latest venture goes as far as to invite esteemed guests and talk about failures. The unconventional approach, however, has a deeper meaning, especially to him, on a personal basis.

Can you imagine a film where the Tardis doors swung open to reveal Tom Cruise, with Pamela Anderson potentially at his side, all under the visionary direction of Steven Spielberg?
Well, few Hollywood ‘what-ifs’ are as intriguing as the renowned director’s involvement with Doctor Who, with reports of megastars and massive cinematic overhauls being considered. Spielberg has mostly picked his own projects, reading books to adapt, finding real-life tales to dramatize, and then working with writers to develop screenplays. So, when rumors of his involvement in the Doctor Who film surfaced in the early 1990s, Whovians went into a frenzy, latching onto any hint of this project.

An author says Kate Middleton is planning a full royal return. They say the Princess of Wales won’t “recede into the shadows” following numerous reports that she is planning a pared-down public life.
When Kate Middleton does return to royal life, it will be business as usual
It has been six months since Kate Middleton appeared in a public-facing capacity. The Princess of Wales was last seen publicly on Dec. 25, 2023, when she appeared alongside royal family members for a Christmas Day church outing.
Subsequently, the princess underwent a scheduled abdominal surgery in January 2023. She retreated from the public eye to recuperate. However, the demand for information regarding her disappearance from public life prompted Kate to release a video in March explaining a cancer diagnosis.
After that, Kate remained out of the public eye while undergoing chemotherapy. In the months since, reports have emerged that she may return to a...

Reports that Wes Anderson was aiming for a scaled-back cast for espionage thriller The Phoenician Scheme may well have been off the mark.
When reports first surfaced that Wes Anderson’s next film would be an espionage thriller, minds were left agog pondering what he was actually up to. After all, Anderson used the iconography of 1950s sci-fi films to unveil something far more intricate with 2023’s Asteroid City, so who knows what Anderson’s good old spy movie could secretly be a Trojan horse for?
One early report we did hear suggested that for this film, Wes Anderson would be scaling back his cast and not working in the same ensemble-driven way that he so often does. That report now looks like it could have been wide of the mark (or perhaps things simply evolved) as the full cast list for the film has now been released and well,...

The project marks the feature debut of writer/director James Hughes and his production banner Sunset Aperture. Hughes previously directed various award-winning shorts starring the likes of Georgina Campbell and Tobias Menzies.
“The Insect Life” is set to tell the emotional story of two lost souls — Levi and Céleste — who both suffer from mental health issues and romantically cling to one another until addiction tears them apart into two parallel journeys of metamorphosis that contrast their chances of survival. [Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 4, “I Want You More Than Anything in the World.”] Dream-stat is no more. Louis (Jacob Anderson) cast away the hallucination of Lestat (Sam Reid) in Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 4. Anderson tells TV Insider this was Louis giving himself closure he’s needed since leaving New Orleans, but what happens immediately after is a concerning sign that Louis has “devolved,” as the actor previously described to us ahead of the season’s debut. The best Dream-stat scenes of the season came in Episode 4 when Louis is alone with his thoughts. Louis complains about his photography woes to the maroon suit-clad Lestat who’s happy to hear Louis vent on and on, encouraging him to get out his feelings with sweet lines like, “Tell me, mon cher.” After Louis and Claudia’s (Delainey Hayles) awful fight, Lestat gives Louis an empathetic look and says, “The wilderness that...

Kouta Hirano’s Hellsing has done wonders for the dark fantasy vampire genre, and most of its credit goes to its main character, Alucard. Deemed one of the strongest characters in the history of anime and manga, Alucard has remained undefeated in the entire series and has served the Hellsing organization in dealing with vampires and other supernatural forces.
Hellsing by Kouta Hirano | Gonzo Studio
While there were many villains introduced in the story, none of them were able to defeat Alucard because of the plethora of powers and abilities that he possessed. From shapeshifting to dark composition, Alucard is filled with strong attacks that can’t be rivaled by anyone. However, there was only one character who came close.

Enough has been said and written about the notorious Game of Thrones Season 8 throughout the past five years. Anticlimactic, disastrous, “we have hundreds of thousands of fan signature on a petition to reshoot this sh*t with a proper ending,” and many other names it has. Neither fans nor actors liked what Benioff and Weiss did with the iconic TV show’s finale, but what’s done is done.
By the way, not everyone hated the ending. There’s at least one star who loved it!
The Grey Worm Loved the GoT Finale
Once Season 8 was out, the Internet was flooded with pictures of Game of Thrones actors looking devastated after reading the finale script. Over the years, some of them actually spoke up against it; others didn’t. But very few GoT stars openly admitted to liking the ending, and their thin ranks just received another soldier!

Mel has been given the title of the most hated character in The Last of Us Part II, largely due to the choices she makes along her journey. On accord with her independent nature and stubbornness, she endangered herself and her unborn child by traveling to the aquarium, through areas not controlled by the Wlf, where eventually she met her demise at the hands of Ellie.
The Last of Us Part II| Concept artist – Robbie Johnson
Mel wanted to leave with Owen and others to Santa Barbara, California, leaving Abby behind. She feared Abby’s intention of regaining Owen’s favor and interfering with her relationship. Paul W.S. Anderson's high-octane sci-fi/horror film "Event Horizon" takes place in the year 2047 when humanity is on the cusp of inventing faster-than-light travel. The title alludes to an experimental starship that went missing on its maiden voyage seven years before the events of the film. When the Event Horizon mysterious reappears out near Neptune, a team of astronauts is dispatched to investigate.
En route to Neptune, the Event Horizon's designer, Dr. Weir (Sam Neill), explains to the other astronauts that his ship doesn't actually travel faster than light -- that would violate the Law of Relativity -- but it can "bunch up" space and pass through a dimensional portal. Weir illustrates the way his engines work by using a pencil to poke a hole through both ends of a nearby Playboy centerfold, folded in half. The Event Horizon folds space, passes through the "head" end of the centerfold,...

"Moonrise Kingdom" was the film that made me fall in love with Wes Anderson's work. It's not that I disliked his earlier stuff; ironically, one of his least well-received films, "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou," was also the one that started turning me onto his movies in the first place. Yet, it was 2012's "Moonrise Kingdom" that solidified me as a Fanderson or Westie or whatever you call those who can't get enough of the quirky cineaste's funny, melancholic, meticulously curated art.
The movie centers on a pair of eccentric 12-year-olds -- orphan and devoted Khaki Scout Sam (Jared Gilman) and rebellious Suzy (Kara Hayward) -- who develop a romantic attraction to one another and, feeling alienated from the rest of their community on the small fictional island of New Penzance, conspire to run away together.
