Family Guy: Faith No More (2024)
Season 22, Episode 15
10/10
This episode was great!
25 April 2024
This episode was very enjoyable. Finally we have another time-travel adventure with Brian and Stewie after so many boring recent episodes where Stewie acts and thinks like a regular toddler, while in this episode Stewie is once again portrayed as a child genius who owns a time machine. I am pretty sure that the negative reviews come from the offended religious people who cannot take a joke. This episode was very enjoyable for me, especially considering that it's partly true about religion, considering how much harm it had done to the world for centuries. I understand Brian's frustration about being an atheist who doesnt fit into a religious society. This episode was quite funny, entertaining and really unpredictable. Similar to the classic Family Guy we all know and love.

Sesame Street (1969– )
1/10
This is just boring and annoying. Why is still on the air?
16 October 2023
I am glad I didnt grow up with this piece of junk. This series is stupid beyond infinity, why is this still on the air?! Sesame Street isnt making the children any smarter, actually its quite the opposite. And its surely a tool of propaganda made to force into our children the ideologies and points of view of the creators. When I began watching The Muppets Show and other Muppet series, a hilarious and well made puppet show, I found out about the sister series of The Muppet Show, this series called Sesame Street. I tried to watch an episode or two, being driven by curiosity. Then I found out it's just terrible from start to finish. There is not a single funny line from any of the characters or any single entertaining scene. All the characters make me want to puke, especially that little red furry demon named Elmo, I cant even stand looking at him. I think that even preschool kids deserve better shows and better entertaining.

Honestly I cant compare Sesame Street to any cartoon or kid's show I used to watched when I was a child. You want a truly educational series for children? Try The Magic School Bus, Little Einsteinsbor Captain Planet. This one doesnt really teach kids anything. Do you want any humorous and intetesting series? Try the 1990s and 2000s Nicktoons and Cartoon Network series. Do you want a series that is both educational and funny? Try Animaniacs...This one will only make your kids dumber and fatter. Waste of time in from of a screen.

Some lost films should remain lost...
27 September 2023
I am a huge fan of classic cartoons, especially of the ones from the Golden Age of the American Animation, including the works of the Fleischer Brothers. When I found out that one of the Betty Boop cartoons is lost, I was a little bit sad, thinking that I will never watch it, until one day when I had the pleasant surprise to find a remastered version of this cartoon and I was very eager to finally see it.

My excitement soon turned into a huge disappointment. This cartoon is pretty weak compared to the golden era of the Betty Boop series from 1932 to 1935, and it isn't even at the level of other shorts released during the same year ("The Swing School" and "Out of the Inkwell", also released in 1938, both have better plot and humor than this lame short). Betty Boop is a minor character in this short film, the main character is her annoying and uninteresting little cousin Buzzy Boop instead.

All the plot of this short is centered around the idea that classical music/opera is boring music that puts you to sleep, while jazz music is lively music that makes you wanna dance. Everyone in the audience and the orchestra falls asleep during the opera performance (a rather terrible performance of some slow and dull pieces of music, done in purpose that way), until Buzzy Boop convinces the soprano to sing jazz music instead, while everybody wakes up and starts to enjoy it. This is a harmful stereotype being perpetuated by such cartoons, and very inaccurate too, because there are hundreds of impressive and lively classical music pieces and many boring jazz songs as well. I am actually surprised that this came from the legendary Fleischer Brothers, considering that they previously made cartoons centered around classical music pieces, including "Morning, Noon and Night" from 1933, "The Spinach Overture" from 1935 and "A Car-Tune Portrait" from 1937, all of them being great animated films and far superior to this junk...they also used various classical music excerpts in Popeye and Betty Boop cartoons, that's how I discovered some of the pieces I still enjoy today.

This cartoon is maybe one of the worst from the Betty Boop series, having Betty more as a background character, it has no real plot, and it's very unfunny, with a humor of a very bad taste. I will give this short film a solid 1 out of 10. As I said earlier, some lost films deserve to remain lost...

RObotzi (2011– )
10/10
After all those years it's still funny
30 July 2023
I have been a huge fan of this comic animated web-series since it has first began. RObotzi is a very enjoyable series that depicts the everyday lives and the adventures of the two main characters of the show: MO, basically the comic relief of the series, a dimwitted ignorant alcoholic rusty robot on one wheel and FOCA, an acronym for "Fabricat Original Cu Aluminiu" (Originally made with Alluminium), his intellectual best friend, a blue large robot on four wheels. The series is well known for its unique humour, creativity, the subtle satire about society and the world we live in, and the well written episodes with unexpected endings.

The humour of this iconic web-series is very diverse, varying from toilet humor and adult jokes, to dark humor, satire, puns and pop culture references. There are indeed a lot of pop culture references throughout the series. For example, various trends like Gangham Style, Despacito, Game of Thrones, and Nyan Cat were referenced in certain episodes, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble made a cameo appearence in Season 1 and Superman and Batman were parodied in a superhero themed short. There are also various minor characters, that despite the fact they appeared only once or twice in the entire series, they are just iconic and memorable. Some memorable secondary characters from this cartoon include Pingu, a tiny penguin-like Robot who is FOCA's assistant, Shto, a small alcoholic robot with low-intelligence created by MO, Santa Claus, The Cucumber (a mutant anthropomorphic giant vegetable who is obbsessed with sex), The Grim Reaper, and of course Pufoshenia ("The Fluffy Thing"), a cute, furry cat-like alien creature who is extremely vulnerable to sneezes, but can transform into a monster if it's exposed to rain or water.

The most impressive is the fact that this series was created with basically no budget, only with Photoshop, After Effects, and some other software, while it still looks amazing. That proves us that anything can be achieved with hard work, talent, and a lot of determination. The only bad thing about this series is the fact that it doesnt also have an English version or at least English subtitles, in order to be seen and understood by a larger audience or by people outside of Romania. If by any chance you know Romanian or at least you are learning this language and you enjoy a perfect mix of comedy and science-fiction, you must watch this YouTube series.

So glad that this atrocity is over...
10 July 2023
This cartoon show is very badly drawn and the most terrible characters and plots in an episode I have ever seen. Really it hurts my eyes to see how badly the characters are drawn. The title character what is supposed to be? Arthur sure doesnt look like an aardvark, thats not how aardvarks are supposed to look like. And years have passed without knowing what animal he represents until I found out he is an aardvark. All the characters are drawn pretty bad. I dont know if Prunella is a rat or a dog. And the characters are obnoxious, stupid and innacurate. Thats not how 8 years old kids are in the real life. The Christmas episode in this series is the worst holiday special I have ever seen. So boring and so lame. Also in one episode when the kids are being invited to their teacher's wedding, they are surprised to find out that teachers get married too...Seriously? I already knew that when I was five. I would never let my kids watch any episode of Arthur, they would make them very dumb.

The worst thing happened to Scooby Doo since Scrappy
15 January 2023
This series is one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life. I literally prefer to be blind and deaf than to have to watch and hear this big pile of horse crap. I cannot believe that they ruined HBO Max and they cancelled several good productions like "Looney Tunes: Bye bye Bunny" and The Porky and Daffy sci-fi comedy film, that could have been masterpieces, wonderful shows like Close Enough that was really enjoyable or Infinity Train. Some potential good shows wont probably be released anytime soon if at all, I am talking about series like The Flintstones sequel named "Bedrock", "Tooned-Out" or "Tiny Toons Loonyversity." All of these good series being cancelled for this garbage? Seriously? The characters have nothing to do with the original characters from the Scooby Doo franchise and the series is horrible, lame characters, stupid plot and no humor.

This crap is even worse than the Scrappy Doo era cartoons, when Scrappy Doo, one of the worst cartoon characters ever made, slowly replaced Daphne, Velma and Fred from the Scooby Doo series. Why they had to ruin HBO Max like that? This streaming platform could have had a lot of animated gems right now, but they ruined everything. Good Job, HBO Max! I think I will cancel my subscription pretty soon.

A Disney Channel disaster
15 January 2023
This TV series is just terrible. This show is pathetic and lame even for a 5 years old. I swear that it's very rare to see such a bad show. All the gags and jokes are extremely childish, some scenes would work well in a cartoon, but not in a live action series. All the character are laughable, like they all have an IQ bellow 20, even though they are supposed to be geniuses. Most episodes are extremely boring, with unoriginal plot. We have bad acting, bad story lines, bad jokes, bad everything. Also, virtually every character in this show is terrible. I watched it when I was bored and I had nothing else to see, but I regret it. Please dont let your children watch this show, otherwise their IQs will drop significantly...

Boring, unfunny and unoriginal. Watch something else!
29 July 2022
This cartoon is extremely boring and a complete waste of time, with no humor and what-so-ever. Nothing but some kids playing in a forest...so original and fresh...like this scenario hasnt been done a thousand times before. This show has no jokes, no humor, no memorable characters, no interesting stories, nothing. It's just bland...as bland as a piece of white bread...The characters are drawn just horrible. Take for example JP... why is his nose at a distance of a mile from his mouth? I will never gonna watch more of it even I get paid or my life would depend on it.

This sucks!
17 July 2022
This is one of the lamest cartoons I have ever seen. The characters are drawn just terrible. Last time when I checked, the otters werent purple or red. The animation is poor, the characters look cheap and too bidimensional and everthing looks like a coloring book colored by someone who is color blind. And all the theme songs goes only like that: Ooo-ooo-oo-de-lay (oodelay), Ooo-ooo-oo-de-lay (oodelay), Doo-doo-day-oh, doo-doo-day-oh for 30 seconds with few others words added into the lyrics. What on Earth is this?!?!? And the noodle dance is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a cartoon ever. Once you leave your mother's womb you are already too old for this toon. This is pure garbage that wont make your kids any smarter. I won't recommend it to anyone.

Masterpiece. I can' wait for the next season.
29 June 2022
This show is majestic, being one of the nicest pieces of animation made in the last decade. I just love how the style of the early 1930s cartoons blends perfectly with the modern animation techniques. The creators also tried to capture the atmosphere of those times with jazz music, technology of the era like telephones, radios, old cars and the rubberhose animation...This cartoon show is an adaptation of the Cuphead game, one of the hardest, yet the most original and lovely games I have ever played, some of the characters used in the game appearing in this show, like Cuphead, Mugman, Elder Kettle, King Dice, The Devil, the Dragon, Chalice, The Frog Brothers etc. Just wonderful. I wish that this cartoon will continue with more seasons and episodes. Hope we will get more shows like this in the future. If you are a fan of the classic cartoons of The Golden Age of American Animation, but you want to see something new this show is perfect for you.

Why does this show has to exist?
11 April 2022
The worst show ever. Pure non-sense and stupidity. You can learn nothing from it, its not even entertainment and doesn't have anything intelligent at all. Bad acting, lame intro and theme song and awful characters. It's clearly that this show used only actresses that look pretty, and not actresses that can actually act properly. The intro has a huge problem: it presents the role of the woman through history, starting with EVE?!? It could have started directly with Egypt or at least put some effort to represent a woman from Neolithic first in the intro, but no...The intro shows the view of the world history from a mythical, creationist perspective, so I can tell that people who made this lousy soap opera are against science and encourages people who watch it to be against science as well. Unless you are a lonely 50 years old man or an elderly single cat lady, don't watch this anti-intellectual junk. Trust me, it's a waste of time and braincells.

Steven Universe (2013–2019)

I cannot believe this piece of junk got so popular
22 February 2022
Steven Universe is by far one of the worst cartoons I have ever seen in my life. I started to give it a chance and I watched few episodes, but then I gave up. It's extremely bland, boring, doesn't make any sense, and its a pale imitation of animes, it tries so hard to mimic the Japanese magic girl shows, but with stone-like alien women, instead of Sailor Moon and it fails terribly. All the characters are annoying, boring, dull, the voice acting is bad, the animation is awful and its just plain weird, creepy and cringe, just like Adventure Time. It's so awful, that I wish to have my brain erased in order to forget this cartoon existed...and have I told you that this cartoon doesn't make any sense? Really? Human beings and gem like-aliens having fusions and creating hybrids like Stevonnie or that time all the three gems mixed into a Godzilla sized gem that Steven presents her as his mother? A pink lions that is barely any bigger than Steven, but that kids can get lost in his pink fur? Steven turned his fingers into a bunch of cats and then he turn himself into a blob of cats? This show is awful, everything is just terrible: the characters, the voice acting, the plots, the colors, the background and the soundtrack. And I am pretty sure its not suitable for children, it might have a negative influence for them. If I had kids, I wont let them watch even 5 minutes from this toon.

Maya & Miguel (2004–2009)

I cant believe I used to like this garbage!
20 May 2021
Maya and Miguel is so unrealistic for a cartoon made to capture the society in a realistic way. Maya's hair bow starts to shine whenever she has an idea. It could work as a visual metaphor similar to the lightbulb that appears when a character has an idea, but in one episode Maya's hair bow can't stop shining until that silly girl can follow her plan. Doesn't make any sense! In another episode a girls loses her cat and the kids ask some guy for help saying "pato" the Spanish word for "duck" instead of "gato" which means "cat". Maya translated it as "a lost cat" but that guy didn't pay attention to the translation, so they ended up with a duck instead. For real? Are you kidding me? If that Mexican kid knows Spanish so well, why would she mistake the words? And why didn't she say it in English from the beginning? And why didn't that man pay attention when he heard the explanation in English?

Every episode is predictable, boring and truly stupid. All the characters are annoying and boring and its a show that lacks any originality and anything interesting. The theme song is irritating and the characters act very dumb in that intro.

This cartoon is leftist and liberal propaganda. It was made to promote multiculturalism to children and fail to do even that. When I was a kid I used to love this show, but after growing up I realised how much time I wasted watching it. I must give this cartoon the lowest score possible.

Shame on you Nickelodeon for even making this !
24 November 2020
This show doesn't make any sense, its quite horrendous. The humour, the animation, the character designs, the plot, actually everything is just terrible and wrong done. The main characters of the show are two green ducks who look nothing like ducks, you cannot even tell what animals are. They look even worse than the 1950s Daffy Duck redesign (since the classic 1940s screwball Daffy design was the best, in my opinion), at least you can tell Daffy was still a duck in that case. These birds look more like frogs than ducks. Even worse and more incoherently, nearly all the characters in this lame excuse for a cartoon are ducks, but some of them look exactly like ducks, being lazy PNG cuts-outs made in paint or better drawn ducks, while in the case of the other characters, like the protagonists, you cannot tell at the first sight that they are even birds. This was based on a youtube video made just for amusement or entertainment, but the geniuses at Nickelodeon decided to turn it into an actual series...brilliant move, Nick !

The humour and the stories of the majority of episodes rely on toilet humour, obscene or low quality jokes, nonsensical gags and situations. Even as a cartoon for kids (especially if it's addressed to kids !) it should have some decency, some common sense and something intelligent or at least something that makes sense. This show has nothing to offer ! My older brother's 5 years old kid has just watched an episode from this pile of junk, and after seeing a scene where the two frog-duck mutants met a red owl (at least I think it was an owl) and covered him in saliva. That little kid imitated those brain dead characters by spitting into his hand and then he quickly cleaned his hand full of saliva with his clothes. In a previous episode, the small green duck wished for chest hair and he magically got it from a shooting star. Yeah, that's not how reality works and the kids should not be told something like this. And is having chest hair something that important for you as a person and defines you as a human (or duck) being? This show is just garbage and you all know it. Creating something like this must be a crime and showing this on TV should be a bigger crime. Earlier before this moment, I wanted to show thas kid the episodes of the newest Animaniacs reboot, but he refused, because he wanted to watch this atrocity instead.

The show is on Nicktoons, a channel that doesn't show anything but the worst animated series made by Nickelodeon. Not classic shows like the Hillenburg-era Spongebob episodes (seasons 1-3), no Rugrats, no Hey Arnold, no Ren and Stimpy, no Rocko's Modern Life, no Cat Dog, no Jimmy Neutron, but they show those ducks from Chernobyl instead of those classics. Shame on you Nickelodeon for even making this ! I am sorry that I have to give this abomination more than it really deserves, because you cant rate it with 0 stars, even thought one star is too much.

Looney Tunes Cartoons (2019–2023)
10/10
And that's how a cartoon is done right !!!
4 June 2020
The original Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies (1930-1969) from the Golden Age of American Animation were perhaps the greatest cartoons ever made: the humour, the originality compared to other animated films from that time, the unique and memorable characters, the unforgettable gags that became a basis for animated comedies that came after it...all of these elements make Looney Tunes one of the greatest and most influential series in history of the animated film. Unfortunately, as all the greatest things must come to an end, after the 1964 when the original studio closed, the series went downhill, with a series of low budget animated shorts, new directors, limited animation and obscure characters, the last WB cartoon from the classic era being released in 1969.

Many movies, TV shows, spin-offs and reboots based on the classic cartoons appeared after the original series ended. Some of them were great, for example shows like Duck Dodgers (2003), Taz-Mania, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, while some of them were not: Baby Looney Tunes missed the point of Looney Tunes trying to appeal to preschoolers and ripping-off Muppet Babies. Loonatics Unleashed was an epic fail and a bad attempt of a futuristic sci-fi version of the Looney Tunes and The Looney Tunes Show wasnt like Looney Tunes at all, the sitcom version change the characters' roles and personalities for the worse. There also was a show named Wabbit/The New Looney Tunes, a series that tried to revive the classic slapstick and screwball spirit of the old shorts, but it failed horribly: the character designs were hideous, the animation looked cheap and the jokes arent that good.

However, Looney Tunes Cartoons that debuted on HBO Max this year is a perfect example of how you revive a classic cartoon series and introduce it to a newer generation. It's remarkable to see beautifully drawn characters, with lots of details and the return to the classic 1940s design and personalities, stunning backgrounds, gorgeous and instense, lively colors and very smooth and realistic animation movements. These shorts look just like the original animators and cartoon directors like Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and Chuck Jones lived today and used modern technology for creating their gems. As I said before the classic characters returned to their Bob Clampett style of design from the early-to mid 1940s, which happens to be my favorite era in Looney Tunes history and they also returned back to their original personality traits and humor, especially Daffy that became in the 1950s a greedy, envious and selfish sourpuss, now our favorite black duck returned to his zanny, energetic, screwball and...daffy roots. Porky returned to his classic Clampett-esque design, after the Wabbit/New Looney Tunes grotesque obese form that doesnt suit him very well in my opinion. The same goes to Bugs Bunny and Tweety. The humor and gags are similar to the spirit of original shorts, without remaking, copying or repeating the old ones after so many episodes previously done. Also, Coyote and Roadrunner shorts are well done and being shorter than a regular cartoon makes them funnier.

What can I say more? That's how a cartoon is done right ! It's clearly that these animated short films are a result of talent, hard work and passion, unlike most of today's cartoons that are simply a commercial product and targeted mostly to young children. If you love the cartoons from the Golden Age of American Animation or if you are a fan of classic slapstick/screwball humor, this is a must see. I recommend it to everyone ! Final score 10 out of 10.

Dora the Explorer (2000–2019)

Please show your kids something else...anything else, but not this !!!
2 June 2020
This pathetic excuse for a preschool cartoon is one of the worst animated shows I have ever seen. It tries too hard to be educational, but it fails miserably... This animation is ugly. the characters designs, movements and facial expressions seem unnatural, just like it s a low budget animation in Paint.

Dora is a kid that wanders in different places while the irresponsible parents let her go way without worrying or trying to protect her, what a good message to sent to young kids.... Also, whenever someone tries to rob you, it's okay just to say "Swiper, no swiping !" and you avoid any problem? A thief would not stop stealing from you, when you just tell him to stop. An inaccurate and very dangerous advice and lesson to teach the little kids, the reality doesnt work like that ! Besides that, Dora acts she is blind whenever a mountain or a river is behind her, she asks for audience where it is that thing !!! She tries to test the kids, just like they are morons. Seriously, now? She barely "teaches'' the young children any Spanish, just few unimportant words, they will never remind them.

For an educational children's cartoon, it loses the touch of reality, some cartoon characters are things that dont exist in real life. Maps cannot sing nor they can talk, why to show that to a toddler if its not even real or possible?! The characters are unlikeable, stupid and horribly drawn, the theme song sucks, the episodes are boring, this show has no redeeming quality.

This is a pseudo-educational TV series. If you want some truly educational cartoons for children, rather try "Magic Bus" (a show that teaches kids about science, biology, astronomy and other domains), "The Why Why Family" (a terribly underrated series where I learnt a lot about space, technology, The Earth, the human body and nature), "Little Einsteins", "Captain Planet", "Once upon a time...Man". All of these would make great choices, just show your kids anyything else, but not this abomination !!!

Johnny Test (2005–2014)

This cartoon was horrible. Glad it ended. It could have happened a lot sooner
24 May 2020
This cartoon show was one of the worst and the most stupid piles of junk I have ever seen. The facts that many people are nostalgic about this cartoon tells us how bad their childhood was. Obvious a rip-off of Dexter's Laboratory, with two redheaded genius girls with glasses having a lab and a stupid blonde boy who ruin their inventions, this show was overall horrid.

Nothing really funny or educational for the kids, the plots make no sense, the jokes were stupid, the characters are all really dumb: including the two "genius" girls who are extremely intelligent, but arent able to realise they cant both have the same boyfriend, their crush Gil. All their town is stupid, people really buy the fact that Johnny's talking dog is a human with a body hair problem. Really doesnt make any sense !

Animation is ugly, it seems like it was made with lowest budget possible: the characters movement, the backgrounds that look flat or ugly and the soundtrack...Oh, God ! That is the worst part ! The same music scores and sound effects all over, around five different sounds and music tracks. Really, how could a cartoon like this last that many seasons and episodes? The first season was an ok start, but then it went worse and worse episode by episode passed after Season 1. But honestly, I think this abomination should have never existed in the first place.

Even Jules Verne would have loved this!
7 April 2020
This Spanish cartoon is an all time classic. If you love adventure and cartoons, you can watch it several times without getting bored. Its based on the Jules Verne's classic novel Around the World in 80 days, but its adapted with talking antropomorphic animals, new locations (like Mexico and Hawaii) and new characters, created for the series, which change the plot a little compared to the original story.

Using animals as characters makes this show special and more interesting to watch, considering every animal matches the character perfectly: Willy Fogg (Phileas Fogg in the original novel) is a lion, due to the fact he is a gentlemen, Transfer a character that doesnt appear in the book is a wolf that tries to sabotage the travel of the protagonists, Romy (Princess Aouda) is a panther, Rigodon (Passepartout) is a cat and Dix and Bully (who play the role of inspector Fix) are dogs.

This cartoon has great moments, funny and memorable characters (especially Rigodon, his best friend Tico and Dix and Bully), lovely songs that are used in certain episodes, a good and detailed animation and the best of all, a great adaptation of a wonderful novel.

Horrible! How low can Disney Channel get?
7 April 2020
I feel sorry for today's kids, because they have to grow up with such pathetic live actions show. Bunk'd is a horrible show, even for the 5 years olds. The jokes are that bad, that they make you rather cry than laugh. The plot of every episode is lame, the characters are unlikable and the show is boring and annoying. The worst characters of all are Emma (obvious, she was the worst in Jessie too) and that gross fat kid Jorge. Even for a 5 years old kid the show is terrible. Its just the type of series made to fill an empty space, just like the most cheap sitcoms made nowadays. This makes Jessie, which was also quite bad to feel like a masterpiece by comparison.
