I realized a day after watching what this movie could be about. It's about human life. And no one knows the answer to the questions we constantly have about it. And that's okay. You just go along with the ride. You keep performing even though there may be no real meaning or outcome to the events that transpired. There could be a deeper meaning behind it but there also may not be. It's all about your own interpretation about what happens. I enjoyed this movie in its ability to confuse me, question it, and keep me guessing about what was really going on. This may be Wes Anderson's best work to date and I hope it wins best original screenplay.

I've seen a lot of weird films. This is up there with one of the weirdest. Weirdest being The Holy Mountain (a very hard watch). This one was enjoyable and so strange at the same time. It is about life, society and cinema all together. It's seemingly random but all serves a purpose. This film is truly unique and I applaud everyone involved.

Wow!! So epic

Thank you Snyder!! That was an absolute treat. Everything DC fans have been missing and waiting for. 4 hours long but I didn't want it to end. Just pure gold for the DCEU. So much potential and excitement for future installments as long as Snyder is there to guide them.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen

I Watched this(and wrote this) while tripping on acid. I have no idea how people watch this sober. I wanted to turn it off several times but you just have to let it ride. I've never been so uncomfortable watching a movie. I had to give it a few stars because it's like nothing I've ever seen or will ever see again. Unique. But not desirable. So bizarre. Disgusting beyond any film I've seen. And I've seen a lot of porn

What a letdown

Warning: Spoilers
I've seen and rated over 1,000 movies. 99% of them had a point. This film did not. It could have been a 30 minute short story. I waited and waited for SOMETHING to happen.... and then the last 30 minutes something did and it sure wasn't worth the wait. I could go on a 30 minute rant about how this movie pissed me off and it would be way more entertaining than watching this movie. The end didn't make sense... she shot herself in the head but when the random guy shot her friend her freaking face exploded... but the main character survived this? And now she's pregnant with the spawn of satan!!?? No... just no.

The average for critics is an 82!!??

This is a 90's movie with all the cliches. It was entertaining to watch but if you're talking about rating movies... come on.... 82 from critics?? That's laughable. I rate movies on how enjoyable they were to watch vs how well the movie is made via cinematography and acting. A 5/10 I would watch again but this movie does not deserve an 82 from critics. Suspension of disbelief the entire way through. Gunfights and explosions and bad science. I'll say it's worth a watch but it shouldn't amount to any high praise

Anything for my princess

This movie was an absolute mess... but why did I watch it 3 times? It's a film that will live in infamy forever. I cannot stop quoting this movie. It is truly a movie from another planet. Digging deeper to find out who Tommy Wiseau is only makes this movie better. I highly recommend this movie to any movie buff. It needs to be seen.... oh hi Mark
Mother!

Kept me on the edge of my seat

I'm a huge fan of movies such as Donnie Darko, Get Out, and Us as well as Mother! The reason is because they are mysterious the whole way through. They have much deeper messages than just horror and violence. Mother! makes you think and draw your own conclusions and you have to figure out the greater message on your own. I understand people not enjoying it because of the violence. But for me this movie is about humanity itself and what this world is coming to. Well done by the director, Bardem, and Lawrence.
Won't watch a 2nd time

I'm a huge fan of QT. I've watched all of his movies 3 or 4 times. This one I just couldn't justify watching again. I waited and waited for a plot to start but it never did. This is a film for filmmakers to watch and enjoy if they can get past a lack of tension. I get that this is a time period movie... It looked very good. I get it... we're in the late 60's. But give me a compelling story like your last 8 movies QT! Acting was fantastic but without a good story this movie falls flat and becomes really boring really fast.
It Chapter Two
(2019)
Not scary and too much comedy
6 September 2019
I was a huge fan of It Chapter One. The first scene of chapter 2 got me very excited for the rest of the movie... and I was crushed with disappointment for the rest. There just were not enough lines for Pennywise. The first movie gave me those holy crap moments when he spoke to the kids. Sadly to say there just wasn't anything creepy or engaging by the clown that I expected from this sequel. They could have done a lot more. They relied too much on comedy and not enough on horror and there was too much recycled footage from the first movie. Just a boring mess I wish I hadn't paid to see.
