Zone blanche (2017)
Great series
I disagree with the critics. Some say, "The reviews are bought!" (they are conspiracy theorists), some didn't finish watching because they didn't like it, but they gave bad reviews and there are those who don't like anything. Well, there are categories within movies and series. If I started watching something that wasn't my genre, but the acting, the plot, the camera work, the direction, etc., etc. Were fine, I didn't complain, I just stopped watching and that was it. This series was great. Beautiful location, lovable characters, a crime thriller with a small and slow-burning mystery, which fleshes out by the end of the second season and cries out for a third season. The low ratings were probably due to the fact that it did not receive enough publicity and attention. I also just foundit on Netflix a week ago and have already watched both seasons. I'm so sorry they didn't continue.
Prey (2022)
I expected better
I didn't hate the film, but based on the trailer I expected much more. I liked the protagonist, I loved the dog, the setting was nice, and the predator, except for his face, was already pretty hot.
I get it, the clumsy warrior wants to get the biggest prey, plus he wants revenge for his friends. But it's like the predator killed them for her, because they was practicing the "how to beat up girls" on them, and well, the predator preys on the violent ones who hurt the weaker one.
And then the buffalo killing and skinning white men showed up. They did disgusting thing, but by the time I started to hate them, they were dead.
I feel like the film lacked power. I wasn't rooting for anyone in particular, but I didn't really hate them either.
Silent Hours (2021)
If you like light films, don't watch it.
This is a great psychological thriller with a dark atmosphere. With good actors and well-developed details. James Weber Brown was an excellent choice. A bit longer than we are used to, but worth it. I really liked the film.
Wounds (2019)
What is not to understand about this film?
So simple. Anyone who comes into contact with that 'something' is possessed, hallucinates, drives them mad. It makes the protagonist aggressive. That's what makes his poblems: alcohol, womanizing, neglecting himself. When he kills Eric, it's two of them: him and the 'something'; so he doesn't even have to physically touch it. This is a great horror film in which the protagonist completely fails at the end.
Intrusion (2021)
A great thriller.
I do not understand the many complainers. They should only watch abstract films, where they can shine their intelligence. This is an hour and a half long, relaxing, highly entertaining thriller with two great actors. For me, 7/10.
Aftermath (2021)
An old theme with a new treatment
The actors were likeable. There was some confusion and inconsistency in the script, especially at the end, but the film was still enjoyable. I loved it.
The Recall (2017)
Very underrated.
It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. It could have been a bit more ambitious, with less hysteria and better direction. The actors just gave what was in the script.
Color Out of Space (2019)
One of the best horror scifi ever made.
Slow burn, elaborate in every detail. Great actors, script and direction.
Can any of us imagine an alien thing, incomprehensible to us, but dangerous and fatal, crashing into our garden? We couldn't, could we? At first, so does the family in the film. And then it's too late...
The Perception (2018)
Great movie
I just watched the movie. I don't understand people's lack of interest, nor the low vote. It's a well-structured thriller with good actors, twist. I gave it 10/10, it deserves it.
The Last of the Mohicans (1992)
Why?
I love this story. And I gave it eight stars because I liked it. But the end was ruined. Instead of helping to get around half a mountain? Why?
The Clovehitch Killer (2018)
Message to the outraged.
Several ask: "What happened to the "grocery" woman who was attacked?"
I think she's dead. When a nylon bag is pulled over someone's head, it usually drowns. Or, she faints at least (if taken off in time).
The Skeleton Key (2005)
Now is 2020
This is one of the favorite horror movie since 15 years.
10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)
My favorite.
For the critics: This film not an independent creation, but the continuation of Cloverfield. It is perfect.
The Unwilling (2016)
Only horror for lovers.
This film is horror comedy. I liked it. My vote 10/10.
