Compulsory Viewing
16 February 2021
For me i sometimes must be shocked into reality so that i quit complaining about how things are so unfair for me in my world. A documentary that immediatly arrests me for all the right reasons and remakes me into who i want to be. If anybody else wishes to benefit as I have done then i encourage you to watch it

A rare 10/10 documentary
1 July 2019
I can not say i felt anywhere near as devastatingly sad at the cruelty and sheer evils of warmongering men. i was left floored at the trauma and pain inflicted upon each child - nearly all the women who were kidnapped, raped, beaten, tortured and mutilated were barely in their teens. The mindless cruelty of evil men and often boys as young as 12 years old who actually rip and tear the female flesh until the girls sometimes die simply due to the shock of pain. One 12 year old boy admits to the camera 'i have done some terrible terrible things to girls, cruel and evil mindless acts against women.'

The film is gut wrenching and must be served to educate and inform. It is a film with purpose. Compulsory viewing for those who have no idea about holocausts that are happening right now in the modern world.

A public service educational product, albeit Hollywood style
25 May 2019
Those wishing to delve deeper into the psyche and demeanor of one of the most manipulative, sophisticated and cunning serial killers in the western hemisphere could do a lot worse than watching this film.

The film lays out the psychological threads which Bundy stitched across his victims, the press, law enforcement and most notably his girlfriend. Bundy's wove his deceitful tapestry driven by the self-centered belief that he was superior in intellect to all those around him - this delusion was a result of his own falsehood about his self-worth, somewhat fueled by his studies - Chinese, later psychology and then later he was accepted into law school - but also his political career as he was serving assistant to the republican party in Washington. None of this is outlined in the film, which is a shame, but this is Hollywood.

Still, the message is clear; never trust those who cast doubt in you because they seem to good to be true. Because there is a good chance you are right. In today's world of social media, it may appear easy to check someone out before dating them. and those who do not leave an online footprint are also easily sussed out too, so nothing to worry about right?

Wrong. The footprinted personalities left online are mere derivatives of the real person, in the same way we all wear masks when talking to people, so too is social media a tool to masquerade behind.

If you don't have basic secondary school education and you are illiterate, then you will enjoy this crap.

Ridley Scott is insulting the audience and I totally support that this is one film nobody should pay to watch.

Ridley Scott is awanker

Somboon (2014)
Extraordinary film very touching, an incredibly moving love story documentary
21 December 2014
The documentary is simply mind blowing, and this is coming from somebody who watches documentaries every week. The fact that this is a love story about an elderly couple going through the most challenging adversities in health and sickness, together with environmental issues, really spells out the real nature of true love and the sacrifices a spouse makes without even thinking of it as a sacrifice. The simple, grounded and surreal moments in the film progressively become less and less surreal and ultimately more real as the events unfold until the epiphany when the viewer's expectations are finally realised, but the unsettling and heart tugging final 30 minute climax of this film is a thrill, but only because as a viewer you do not want the inevitable to occur. The film is pure genius romance and quite possibly the best documentary I've seen this year. 8/10
