Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
Masterpiece!!
Tarantino's got style. No doubt about it. And has ideas very clear in his head. What a genius.
Characters spread and fill the screen and catch you from the very first shot. Amazing performances, set ups, music, photography...
Tatantino set an amazing world filled with bad guys and girl described with a superb poetry. The atmosphere is magic. Violence is presented as another piece as part of a perfect engaged machine. Dialogs are not as much present as previous T's movies, but they're far enough and works perfectly with the set up of the movie.
Just say that Uma Thurman -the bride- overflows her talent in every single shot and reveal herself as a great great actress. And gorgeous.
Real classic Cinema nowadays!!
Blueberry (2004)
Strange movie, over all
Despite the movie intend to catch you in a magic world of peyote trip, the movie doesn't even achieve people care about characters and even plot story.
The mechanism of the story is quite special, and action usually advance by flashes. The main thing for director here is the Indian spirit surrounding Blueberry life. We see lots of plane shots, eagles watching, clouds speeding through the sky, travelings by the forests. Everithing is pointed to catch the magic.
The final sequence, is the very anticipated trip of Blueberry to fight in a ethereal world against his nemesis. Quite similar as 2001:A Space Odissey. Full "drug" throttle trip.
Action is slow and intended to make up poetry... but the final taste at the end of the movie is disappointing.
El secreto del héroe (2003)
My godness
Director (actually Antonio Hens) really fails in this TV movie. Everything's really bad: acting, art, photo, editing and the even worst screenplay.
It made me suffer to the most.
What did dark interest drive producer go ahead with such a cheap product?
It´s certainly another example how "leverage spanish movie industry" works: doings nothing less than craps (by the way they get his 20% earnings over the original budget)
Poor
