Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
Without Jack Sparrow This Would Be On The Worst Movies Ever
Captain Jack Sparrow is an amazing character, and he is the only one who makes this film bearable. The other characters were pointless and irritating, the plot never went anywhere and the world could have done without this movie.
Long story short, this film is the most unguided, poorly entertaining and below average 2 and 1/2 hour thing you will ever see. There is NO point in this film. I am pretending this movie was never made and there are only 3 instalments in the POTC franchise.
Wait for this movie to show up free on your t.v., only then will you not be disappointed.
Moondance Alexander (2007)
Simply Just Not Good
Not only does this movie attempt to be the cliché "horse and rider as one" story, but it fails, and quite horribly. The storyline is very predictable, and at numerous times its just plain boring. Not only is the story bad, but the acting is just awful. The main character's acting ability lacks so much its so hard to watch. The enemies of the main character, moondance, are the cliché mean snobby riders, like always. Also, of course, the main character is missing a parent to make you feel sorry for her, but you don't at all. And, of course, moondance and her "pinto" horse (which is only a color breed, NOT a genetically/characteristically determined breed, which they make the main reason for disapproval of the horse) win in the end. Sadly, this film is just so unrealistic. You cannot learn to jump a .9 or so meter hunter course in 1 month, a horse does not recover from colic that fast, and you cannot be unable to buy a 200$ coat and afford a 600$ GPA. There are way too many problems with this movie. I'm sorry to say this, but as far as horse movies go, this is without doubt on the bottom of the list. The only semi good thing about this film is the setting, its quite nice. But in conclusion, don't waste your time. And if your a horse person, you'll be totally angered by this movie's lack of realistic horsemanship.
Australia (2008)
A Great movie That Should Have Been Split In Two
To be completely honest, this was a truly amazing and enjoyable film. Hugh Jackman was the perfect man for his part, and Nicole Kidman did an outstanding job acting, nothing less than above her usual. Also, "The Wizard" was an extremely lovable character who added comedy and a special unique charm to make this movie stand out from the rest. "Australia" had an excellent non-stop storyline full of all elements, action, comedy, romance, mystery and adventure, mixed perfectly together to create a wonderful film. This movie also brings a whole new "something" factor to the table, which only adds excitement and pleasure while watching this flick. This is without doubt a movie the whole family could enjoy, though some younger viewers may not catch everything that happens. There is only one small problem, "Australia" should have been split into two movies, its way too much of everything to be condensed into one. Everything happens so fast and by the end of the movie you were sitting there not sure what actually happened, it was too much. But do not worry, you will not be sitting there bored ever. Nonetheless, this is a great movie you will thoroughly enjoy, a must see that you will honestly probably only have a desire to see once.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Unbelievably Amazing
This film was by far one of the best action/superhero films ever created. The character of Batman in this film is without question the best superhero portrayed in any past marvel films. The plot has an excellent storyline that keeps you on edge from the first to last minute, and all the characters are well played and very believable. Also, the special effects of this film are outrageously stunning and breathtaking throughout the entire movie. Furthermore, Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar for his outstanding, incredible performance as the Joker, the best villain in any movie thus far created. This film is without doubt a must see that you will fall in love with the moment you watch it!!!!!
Lower Learning (2008)
Meh
In complete honesty, this movie was not a complete waste of time, but it was with question not nearly as funny or as enjoyable as anticipated, and what was anticipated was nothing at all. This movie had a very small potential of being somewhat funny, it had some elements that could have created a good story, such as a very cute storyline with some very cute little kid actors. However, the movie was not a total wreck, there were actually some funny parts that actually made it possible to sit through the film, but the comedy was quite raunchy and at times just down right disgusting. If there is nothing, and I mean nothing, else for you to watch, then putting this on the TV is better than sitting doing nothing. But lower learning is definitely not worth spending money on. Do not expect to enjoy this film, no matter how much you like the actors. Just expect nothing, and then maybe you'll get something out of it
