OK, so it really wasn't that bad, but if the actors were any less into their characters, i think the i would have cried. Not tears of fear, but tears of boredom. The acting is so flat. I mean, the main guy (sorry don't remember his name) is just to blah. I mean, here we have the evilest place on earth, changing everyone and everything, and he's acting like he's stuck in some horrid 4th. grade social studies class, memorizing dates of presidential births (really he's that dull). And none of the others are much better. The computer animation birds have more emotions then most the actors and actress. The story line itself, could have been good. and it wasn't really bad, but the horridly flat acting took away from much of the story line. Then we have all the gore. Some is pretty cool, like the baby:) others are just, well, seemingly out of place. I know, how can you have out of place gore in a scary movie, trust me! I'm gonna leave it at that, OK plot, horrid acting, icky computer work and blah ending. But, it does give a background for the Exorcist (org.). I wouldn't waste your money, but it's your money....i'd say rent it, fast forward to the somewhat interesting parts, but then again, why not just spend those five minutes that could be interesting and just watch the original?

This was a very good movie. Obviously any movie with Jack Black in it, shouldn't be taken too serious, and this movie is no exception. However, it is an excellent movie if you love rock. The music is outstanding, the kids in the band are so talented. This movie made me feel like i missed out big time in school, by not having a teacher like Dewey (jack black). I recomend this very fun movie. Take your kids, take your special someone, take a stranger off the street. Just go ROCK!!!!

If you want a movie that's realistic, look somewhere else. If you want a cute film, where the losers come out on top, this is a pretty good movie. Dj Qualls is becoming a really good actor, and he's got the role of the geek nailed. Patten that boy for this part. There are some choice moments in this movie that make it better then some, and Vanilla Ice is in it...how cool is that? That's actually what makes this movie so great. The cameos. there are some major rockers in this that will refresh the screen at times (towards the end).
