The plot is something that promises a lot, they had a space to make a really good movie and they ended up ruining it.

There are several points to emphasize.

-It had such a good plot that the execution is extremely bad, the movie doesn't give you time to feel suspense/fear or discomfort. You don't have time to draw your own conclusions. An example is at the beginning, we see that they greet a couple that is being attacked by the murderers and the scene simply remains there, it does not "play" with that information, that moment practically goes unnoticed.

-The empty spaces. There are countless scenes where literally nothing happens, they show a scene extending the time in which it should be shown. That reduces the excitement/fear/suspense that the viewer feels when watching it.

-The acting is very bad, they literally shoot their son in front of them, only 4 minutes pass and they already forget that he is dead in the room.

Boring from start to finish. When you are getting into the plot and a little suspense is generated, the movie takes care of turning it off, the movie goes nowhere, without a clear objective the actors feel very, very empty, in particular situations where the themselves (daughter's disappearance/wife's death) make a micro scene and it seems that they have already forgotten. They don't delve into the real problems, the film is more concerned with showing you the scared animals than the characters themselves.

All this added to the fact that the movie lasts 2 hours 18 minutes for the worst ending they could have come up with. Everything was terrible, I would never see her again. Save seeing it.
