A bad movie with a bad story, bad chases and a lot of poor acting. Nicolas Cage has a lot of explaining to do. We all know that these actors can pick good movies, Cage can do better Delroy Lindo is usually a great supporting actor, however he could not save his poorly written role, Vinnie Jones is a very funny guy really and Angelina Jolie, well ok maybe she cant get a better gig. were to start. A bad movie.....the end. this movie has one good car chase seen and no more good action lets face it, if you want to see a good car chase with no story watch the Fast and the Furious, if you want to see a Good Nicolas Cage movie Rent Birdy. 3/10

Excellent movie and a very well cast duo. It is a rul in films that opposites attract so in order to make a good comedy movie with characters with chemistry you have to have two totally different kinds of people. Jackie Chan is the obedient rescue type that follows all the rules and does everything by the book, oh and hes not a huge comedian either. Owen Wilson is the loud mouthed cowboy that does everything his way and very spiratically, which also causes him to be a major screw up. The two put together are as good as Jackie and Chris in the Rush Hours. Chans movies with Wilsons comedy truly make this film worth watching.

I was impressed how well this movie was made and acted. I went into it expecting a cheap pg 13 horror wannabe. I came out of the only not bloody movie that has ever freaked me out. It was full of above average suspense and really is an "edge of your seat thriller" a must see for people out to have a good scare and it is very well ended. Michelle Pfeifer is very believable girl in a role where she knows absolutely nothing that is going on and Harrisons role is well acted for the character that he plays. 7/10

A very good movie. I like the Rest of the world was attached to thid comedy delight by the animation for the kids and the humor not exactly for the kids. It was fun to watch and The Donkey was hilarious even though it was Eddie Murphy (maybe it was good because you couldnt see him). and Mike Myers is funny as well as the wonderfully yet verticallyu challenged Lord Farquadd as voiced by John Lithgow. The adventure was great and the animation was not too shabby. dont bother renting this if you havent seen it. Go straight to the "for sale" shelf and grab it there, it is amusing even the 198th time. (I havent really watched it that many times).8/10

Payback is a very good movie, enjoyable and fun to watch. It's a root for the bad guy film starring Mel Gibson in an Excellent performance as the guy who doesnt hesitate to get what he wants and lost. I love the how the movie was shot in a dark tone and how Porter always knew what was going on. Very good supporting performances, but nothing stand out. This film is a must see for most. 8/10

This is by far my favorite movie of all time. with a terrific cast especially the standout performance of Helena Bonham Carter in a movie fueled by the male instincts. The story is like no other written before for the movies however the original Fight Club Novel does beat it. Norton is his usual self with a great performance and delivering lines, I have gained respect for Pitt after this movie and he is on my list of good actors. and as for the director, Finchers style is so beautiful and unique, especially the opening scene. even the music is great. A movie for all people not just men, however you must watch it at least twice to appreciate its humor and intellect. I urge you if have not seen this to go and rent it, also use the DVD and play the commentarys by Novel Writer Palahniuk and the cast commentary. this movie is a ten out of ten and deserves a lot more then it was given.

I like any other reader of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy believed that middle earth could not have been brought to life in a film because it is its own fantastic world. but when i went to the showing I was absolutely amazed and i was also heart broken when i watched the Academy Awards, if Shakespeare in love should get an award over Saving Private Ryan then the Lord of the Rings without a doubt should have beaten a Beautiful Mind (i do like a beautiful mind). anyways back to the movie. the scenery was fantastic, obvious that New Zealand is the only place in the world that can be recognized as middle earth. Cast was not incredibly great but i appreciated Mortensen as Aragon and McKellen as Gandalf, but the real standout was the smaller part of the great Christopher Lee as my favorite character Sauromon. This movie is a must for all LOTR readers and everyone else, truly the beginning of a great trilogy and a taste of whats to come.

The greatest thing about Beauitiful Girls is that is a movie that is not devoted to one character. It is devoted to all of its characters. This movie is very good and it does it all with very very little action. "Willie Boy"(Timothy Hutton) has come back to his hometown for a high school reunion and to work things out. While home he finds the most intriguing girl he has ever met, the only problem is she is 12. Meanwhile Willies friends are all involved in relationship problems. Tommy(Matt Dillon) has a steady relationship with his girlfriend but is still having "fun" with his high school sweetheart and Paul(Michael Rapaport) and his dog Elle McPherson are lonely because his ex is dating the butcher. This movie comes together almost perfectly and has standout performances by Rapaport and the young Natalie Portman in the best film of her career.

People watch Leon and they say wow that was a great action movie I love it. But it is really a love story with great action on the side. Leon is an extraordinary movie shot in New York about a quiet professional cleaner (played wonderfully by Jean Reno) who comes to live with a young girl whos family was killed by a corrupt DEA team. Mathilda wants to learn to become a cleaner so she can take revenge on Stansfield(Gary Oldman) Leon is not too excited about the idea but soon realizes that there is no way out. The movie explores how close the relationship with Leon and Mathilda gets and how they handle each other. Definetely see the version titled Leon it goes more in to what Leon and Mathilda do together than the US lease of The Professional. The Performances are great in this movie especially Gary Oldman as the Lunatic DEA captain. It is truly a remarkable film.

it was one of those nights where you watch TV and there is nothing on and you fall asleep on any channel. When I woke up I became tied to the movie that was on. Let it Snow (Snow Days) is an excellent movie that by some chance fell into my lap. I loved the story, it wasnt just a guy who likes a girl and they fall in love and one thing happens and then they meet again and make it end. It was a movie where the guy had to go through lengths to get the girl that he wanted, which is a little more realistic. and even in the end his efforts may have been useless. This movie is great and I would recommend it to almost anybody who is in need of a romantic guideline.
