House of the Dragon: The Black Queen (2022)
Daemon and Aemond is amazing, so is the whole season!
I can't express enough of how much I love Daemon and Aemond in this series. For me, they definitely stand out but other characters are very very good as well. Daemon and Aemond is just special, every scene they have been in, in this season, they have literally OWNED it. These 2 might be the best characters ever in my book. Kudos to GRRM for that!
I felt as though this specific episode was a built up to an amazing upcoming season. The last Storms End scene was absolutely amazing from the moment it started to end. I also loved how they gave Aemond a depth and didn't only make him a bloodthirsty villain as the book (written by maesters) makes him out to be. I believe this is the way he was always supposed to be, the book was just not a reliable source since it isn't as detailed.
Absolutely LOVED this season. I keep comparing this to Game of Thrones because I think these 2 series are absolutely amazing in their own ways that no other serie has reached before. As much as I loved the first season of GOT, I have to say that HOTD's season one is even better than GOT's. Which is an AMAZING accomplishment!
I can't WAIT for season 2... I'm so infuriated that it isn't gonna be released for 2 years but atleast we are getting a new season from this masterpiece.
The Last of Us: Part I (2022)
Amazing Remake!!
This was such a good remake with extraordinary graphic improvements! Joel and Ellie's design for this remake look so much better and realistic compared to the original one. I cant express enough how much I love this game and the fact that we got a remake for it really makes me happy. Tess looks much better as well, so does David and Bill. Man, I love this game so much!!
I am so glad that we got a remake! It deserves to be bought!
I am lost in words honestly, I just really love the father-daughter relationship between Joel and Ellie and the fact that we get it with much better graphics just makes me so happy. I will most likely play this game again even after already completing it once.
The Last of Us: Part II (2020)
4/10 just for Joel flashbacks. Besides, 1/10.
The only reason why I don't give this game a 1/10 is thanks to the heartwarming flashbacks with Joel and Ellie. These flashbacks are what we expected the whole game to be about. Joel's death was very uncalled for, it made no sense. Neither Joel or Tommy would be that kind to strangers as to go and tell them their personal informations such as names, even where they live. On top of all this, Abby, the new character who kills Joel after he literally saved her life half an hour ago, is the main reason I despise this game. If we played as Ellie always after Joel died, I would atleast give this game a 7/10. The fact that we are forced to play over 50% of the game as the one character that kills our most beloved character from the first game is extremely bad written. Also, the way Ellie spared Abby at the end was so stupid as well, she would never have done that! Especially not after having a flashback of Joel, that, if anything, should have been making her even angrier! Im just so sad that this game turned out to be so disappointing. I was so psyched for the TLOU2 after playing the first game.
Huge disappointing.
Red Dead Redemption II (2018)
Tied for the best story mode game ever made
The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption 2 are 2 extremely special story mode games that have moved me in a way neither movies or series ever could. I felt extremely immersed in the story of Last of Us. It was so heartwarming to see how Joel and Ellie's relationship developed throughout the process of the story. The way Joel can't help but slowly see Ellie as his own daughter is extremely heartwarming. The scene where Ellie was forced to kill David in order to escape from him taking advantage of her: Joel comes and hugs Ellie and that scene right there is one of the best scenes I've ever seen ever. Right there in that scene is where their father-daughter relationship began. It was so heartwarming to see Joel hug Ellie and call her "baby girl" just like he did to Sarah.
It reminded me of the scene where Sarah dies in the beginning of the game. That scene, combined with extraordinary voice acting and soundtrack, is one of the saddest scenes ever. I was literally joking around with my brother 5 minutes before that scene came and when it arrived, both of us couldn't help but hold our tears. We cried and both of us was very shocked.
The way a soldier (a perfectally stable person) kills Joel's daughter is the main reason why Joel kills every Firefly at the ending in order to save Ellie. He couldn't trust them with the vaccine understandably. Even if the vaccine worked, nobody could be sure that it would be put to good use. Joel, most importantly didn't want to lose another daughter. He even says at the ending that you gotta find something to fight for. That, is Ellie (for Joel)
I loved this game so much, when I compare this game to others, the only other game that seems to be as good as it is Red Dead Redemption 2. Red Dead Redemption 2 has a very deep storyline. It's about family, friendship, betrayal and much more. Arthur Morgan will forever be the best character ever. The characters, so many good conversations, the little details in RDR2 is mind blowing. Dutch is easily one of the best characters and it was really sad to see him betray Arthur. We could all see that he did not want it to be this way. Dutch stopped being himself the moment Hosea got killed. It felt like he was desperate of stuff and just had empty plans in his mind, plans that even he knew wouldn't work out. He was mentally hurt. Micah, (the rat) Would never have fooled Dutch if it was the Dutch before Hosea's death.
John is and will always be one of the best characters ever too. His relationship with Arthur was extremely heartwarming. It had a really good development. It felt like they had a brother relationship later on in the game. Arthur always knew that John is a great man. A man with sympathy who cares for others as much as he does for himself.
Arthur's death broke me. It was extremely sad. I can't even imagine how bad he must feel knowing that his father-figure betrayed him. It was easily one of the saddest scenes ever. All the things Arthur and Dutch went through, the way Dutch took Arthur in when he was young, all them years and yet to see Dutch betray Arthur like that was extremely depressing. I remember bawling my eyes out when it happened.
As for the conclusion, I usually do not like story mode games. I have played God of War and I thought it had a fun gameplay but story wise.. it is miles behind RDR2 and TLOU. I have played GTA V story mode as well but didnt like it that much, was average. I have played many more story mode games that I cant even remember because they were so forgettable.
The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption 2 will never be forgotten. 2 amazing stiry mide games that is tied in my eyes.
The Last of Us (2013)
The best story ever!
I just love Ellie and Joel's relationship so much. They have such a heartwarming relationship. You know how rude they were to eachother at the beginning but as the story processes, their relationship processes as well. It's unreal how close I feel to them. I have never felt like this to any movie character. I love Joel and Ellie so much and I wish part 2 had more of their scenes in it and not just Abby for 10 hours.
Joel is the best character together with Ellie. They are my absolute favourites. I would play hours and hours and not get bored by Last of Us. The story keeps you immersed since the beginning! The opening scene, the ending scene. Both, EXTRAORDINARY great! I wish there was more games like TLOU.
"Baby girl" awwww man the moment Joel said that to Ellie when she was about to be .... By David warmed my heart so much. That whole gameplay was soo amazing, it was scary as hell. I knew there was something wrong with David the moment I saw him the first time. He was too kind and it was for a reason. AMAZING story.
Fight Club (1999)
Tied for the best movie ever!
This movie is amazing! I am very critical when it comes to movies but I have to say that this movie is literally tied being the best movie ever made in history together with The Shawshank Redemption. I recommend everyone to watch this movie, you will not regret it! It is a perfection from start to finish, the only movie that felt this surreal is The Shawshank Redemption.
The Batman (2022)
Such a great movie!
Watched the movie an hour ago in the theatres and I have to say that it is AMAZING! Even better than The Dark Knight! Robert Pattinson nailed it as The Batman and Paul Danu was amazing as The Riddler too! Such a great movie that everyone should watch, you will not be disappointed!
Joker (2019)
I went to the movie theatre 3 times for this MASTERPIECE!
This is the best movie ever, there I said it. It is amazingly perfect in ever aspect and never makes you feel bored. Joaquin Phoenix did the best as Joker and didn't let us down, well deserved Oscar!!!
