The Revenant (2015)
Don't get me wrong!!
Don't get me wrong because I've given this movie such low rating. I've always loved DiCaprio's performance. Prior to release, when I read the synopsis and bit googling about Hugh Glass, I started eagerly waiting for the movie. However after watching all I could think was, even if this movie wasn't ever made, nobody would've cared. The problem is not with the acting or direction, cinematography etc. I just don't think it was needed to be made as there's nothing great about it. Now I know there are plenty of movies out there, which we don't care about. But when Leonardo DiCaprio is starring in a movie, it's like you must watch it and enjoy. All this movie's about is survival (which isn't highlighted as I'd hoped for) and revenge. The problem is that these 2 things are sort of ignored by the director. We see lots of Red Indians, French bla bla!! Its hard to explain, perhaps someone with a better command of language can explain better after watching.
Avatar (2009)
Brilliant, fabulous, brave.....energetic
While watching this movie, Avatar, the first thing that came to my mind was Incredible and I don't know how to describe this movie but I'll try. As a lover of Sci-fi genre I watch all these kind of movies like Spiderman 3, Ironman, Pandorum and all of them were really nice and I enjoyed but they all were something I would say expected, known and simply nice movies but this movie made me sure that Hollywood will always be on the top because of these amazing producers, directors who don't only have brilliant ideas but also the guts to make them come to life and show to us. First of all this movie had everything innovative and second great thing about it was that these innovations were not like showing some foolish creatures from a different planet who have different freakish bodies and some freakish language, instead it looked like that something like this could've been like on earth but billions of years age. Not to forget about the incredible and true message behind this movie, which I think we all should follow because fellas we're destroying our beautiful world. I love the beautiful nature and the wildlife we still have but not the things like too much technology, racism and big luxuries. Our ancestors had something I would say a better lives then us and there had better then them but our future generations (if we continue like this) will have something worst, no nature, no tigers, no crocodiles(no wildlife), basically nothing except the damn freakish technology and laziness. I know one person cannot change the entire world but taking initiative is the first step towards achievement. We should make some more brilliant movies like these and do whatever we should to make this world a better place.
It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
I want to live in that time of 1940s.
I know its the 21st century and everything has changed so fast that you just can't even believe. Although I'm a teenager but watching this movie I want to go in the past & want to live a very simple life like George Bailey . During watching this movie I thought why don't that time strikes and the whole world again become simple & lovely. I rated this movie 10 on 10 I'm sure it deserves it. Brilliant acting by James Stewart, Reed & Barrymore. I loved the movie & want to at least for 1 day in that era. By watching this movie one can learn a lot about life,- that life is not just about you, its about everyone. Its not about your gratification but about how much sacrifice you can do for your loved one's. This movie is specially for our new generation, which needs to learn importance of family values and bonds.
Ratatouille (2007)
Dinner is really served 100% accurately
I can watch this movie over and over again and bet you that there can't be more entertaining animated movie ever created. I loved it and I can say it over & over again. It had everything you can expect from a movie,as it was entertaining twister which you will enjoy with your family or anyone. Brad Bird has made this movie with his full heart and soul. This movie is about a very well sophisticated rat who has great sense & taste about food and is the only rat with this kind of power in his whole society. This movie made me so hungry that just after watching it I went to the hotel nearby me and ordered that same soup followed by an amazing ratatouille. So, lastly I can say that this movie served me everything I wanted.
300 (2006)
Nice movie, nice topic but excessive blooded
I went to the theater and saw the movie and found that the movie was obviously nice. But what I didn't like was excessive blood drainage. Visual effect, direction, acting and everything was very good. Even I enjoyed the blood drain in the movie but after coming out of the theater what thrilled me that how can I like so much violence. Yes, obviously there was not necessity of so much blood drain. Already our younger generation is going through downfall and showing so much hard violence to them, we can imagine that what the hell we are feeding them. May, some people don't like my comment but for me its 100 percent right, because what media show us is what gets into our mind and in the same way we react and the same we become. I know reality must be shown but can also be shown in a bit less violent manner. That's what I think.
Hotel Rwanda (2004)
A reality which is being portrayed 100% correctly by Terry & Cheadle
I always knew that great movies can be made but greatness to this extent is totally beyond imagination. Before two days I saw the movie - Hitler: Rise of the Evil & confirmed myself that this kind of perfection won't be seen again but after purchasing the DVD of Hotel Rwanda and watching it, I found that both Don Cheadle & Terry George proved me 100 percent wrong. Because this kind of movie, history, reality & direction are fabulous. No doubt that it deserves Oscar for everything it had. Now I can understand that how much one's life can be hard and to what extent. This blend of reality & direction in this movie is simply heart warming and breath taking. I loved this movie and thing that Don Cheadle is a class actor and right now don't think that any other actor can match his class. I think also the same for Terry George.
Hitler: The Rise of Evil (2003)
I'll surely cast Robert Carlyle in my movie (when I'll make one)
A biography, a drama , a history and a perfect movie. This is what I think about this movie. The kind of acting by Robert Carlyle and the way he has portrayed Hitler is simply fabulous and amazing. I am simply unable to point out any wrong sequence from the movie. I've seen a lot of movies based on history & drama but this one is the best of them all. The movie and the actor both deserve the Oscar. The film has shown the character of Hitler and how he was great and at the same time showing that how foolish he was. They have shown his great character with also showing his hardness towards the Jews. And if anyone think that there is nothing perfect in this world, then watch this movie & hopefully you'll find a movie very near to perfection.
I Am Legend (2007)
A senseless movie which is giving its virus to the audiences
I went to the theater with a lots of expectations but it really disappointed me. I don't know what's wrong in Hollywood because they simply don't have any other subject than the maniac virus which gets over the whole world and suddenly one hero appears which can change everything. You can take Resident Evil trio. or 30 days of night or 28 weeks later or others. And I guess some kind of virus has caught the audiences as well as they don't feel bored after watching movies on same topic again and again. I've never ever seen such a senseless movie ever, there was no story & can anybody tell me what was the role of the lions & those deers. I guess it was for the trailer and something's wrong with the director as well.
