Feast of the Seven Fishes (2019)
$20,000,000 spent on WHAT?
OK movie...
I'm 3rd generation Italian - missed out on the 7 fishes, lol.
I'm really curious about the $20,000,000 spent on the film. Seriously? Please, I'd love to know more :) like WTF did you buy?
I don't remember seeing so many guys in any kitchen - but like I said - 3rd generation Italian. I do remember a bunch of old guys hanging out in the mostly finished basement, playing 'fingers', lol. This game was never fully explained to me,
Thin women! Where'd they find them? I can't imagine Nonna being so rude! Anyone ever act like that? I never met my grandparents, but I think that would never happen.
At least there's no Tony Soprano.
The Nice Guys (2016)
Nothing original
Sorry. I've seen all of these gags before. You brought nothing new, and could have made things interesting if you incorporated the original gag.
Acting was fine... location - well I guess you had enough airline miles and wanted to sleep at home.
Script, sorry.. I forgot the plot. It was crap.
WWGRD... What Would Guy Ritchie Do?
Bastille Day (2016)
Most of the subtitles for the French dialog are missing.
Saw this on Netflix. My french is awful - so anytime the dialog switched to French, and the subtitles weren't visible, I was in the dark.
Subtitle person - you had one job and you blew it.
Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
I wanted to like it, but it was too pretentious/bogus
Basically a suckfest.
The first kept me interested - but the conclusion just confirmed my fear that I'd lost something like 5 hours to this pile of pretentious drivel.
I did enjoy Daryl Hannah, but the rest --- ugh! Madsen, Carradine, Thurman, Tarantino---- I expected better.
Bill was just too full of himself for me to care whether he lived or died - and Beatrice - well same thing. There was no one to like, and really no one worth hating. Without either emotion, I'm stuck praying that the credits won't be too far off.
I'll be missing Kill Bill 3 - I'd rather have a root canal.
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Watching it, took my breath and hope away - but then
I guess that was the purpose. It's a movie, a moment in time that actually pulsates. But what a moment! I feel like someone shared something important, dangerous and frightening. Something that I'll never forget, and hopefully never experience.
