I could care less about the 6 or so fans they focus on...None of their lives are all that interesting...The sound was teereible..tbey didnt even finish a complete song.I don't know what they were thing...Dave Gahan looks like a creepy old pervert...bad, just bad

There has been better acting in porn for crying out loud.Eliot cant even speak coherently.There is nothing good about this schlock....t is a movie for born-again Christians and should only be shown at churches....Horrible and very misleading title.You have the main character look like Kurt Cobain,yet his music sounds like the Goo Goo Dolls sappiest number.Don't ever waste your time with this garbage...I want my hour and a half back!Everone involved in this movie should never be allowed to work in the business again.Horrible.I cannot say enough bad things about this piece of crap.They are sullying the names of all the people that are actually in the"27 Club"

This is NOT a movie for the "date crowd" or for 14 year old boys looking for a blockbuster.This is a grim ,hard movie to watch about real things happeing to real people.The acting was superb.Charlize WILL get the oscar for this performance.If she doesnt, its highway robbery.Between this and 21 grams , I dont know which was harder to watch.I love movies that are real and gritty like these.MAKE MORE OF THEM!

I am usually not a fan of these kinds of movies.You know, the kind of cookie cutter Hollywood pap.I am usually an independent film kind of guy.But I must admit, this movie made me laugh! Sure it was simple, but, I thought it hit all the marks for a family comedy.I gave it a 10.I havent laughed so hard at a movie in ages.It may be Eddie Murphy's best since the 80s!!

"Mahowny" is a decent movie.It is far too slow and the embezzlement portion is confusing.What makes the whole thing worthwhile however, is Phillip Seymour Hoffman's incredible performance.He is the King Of Angst.I hope he gets an oscar nod for this or one of his other fine performances.There arent too many actors of his ilk out there today!!!

" A Mighty Wind" was mildly enjoyable.I was expecting so much more from the great cast.Its no-where near Best in Show or Spinal Tap(one of the funniest movies ever!Not to mention the best DVD one can own!!!).I thought Eugene Levy could have done alot more with his character...I was waiting to bust out laughing at Mitch,but that belly-laugh never came.The songs were simply ok.I cant wait for the next Christopher Guest movie...hope its better than A mighty Wind.

I dont understand how people can say this movie was boring and say it was"no-where near the greatness of The Godfather!". Hmmmnnn I dont remember the Godfather being an action packed movie! It was like 3 hours long! "Road" says what needs to be said in a sparse 119 minutes.I thought it moved along perfectly.I think it will do well come oscar time .....All three leads should be considered , as well as direction,cinematography and best picture! Throw in score,art direction and costume design for that matter!!!!A GREAT,Timeless movie that will be remembered for years to come.Up with the greats like The Untouchables and Goodfellas!!!

I liked "donnie Darko" .I give it a strong 8/10.Although I dont really thinks its all that groundbreaking or unique.I think it acts as a great homage to all of the great 80s blockbusters (ie. Back to the Future,Poltergeist,E.T. etc etc...the list goes on and on.) I guess it was going to be more subversive or something.I enjoyed the movie and I "got" it,but lets not look into the movie TOO much.It was meant to be entertaining,not a philosophical debate!

Another great documentary shown on HBO's America Undercover series.I found this to be an ultimately sad film.It made me appreciate my own life and glad I am happy in my own skin.I wish these people happiness.....somewhere in their lives.

I loved the movie...I thought it showed the complete and utter horror of war.I dont know how some of you can say it was propaganda....Look up the word in the dictionary.Methinks Ridley should win (sorry David Lynch,but your movie made no sense!)Great war sequences...Why wasnt the nomintaed form best picture...Better than Saving Private Ryan!

This is horrible filmaking.Not funny,not believable and offensive.How this movie ever got made is a wonder to me.Its like a sick drunken joke between these has beens and never weres.Who does george Hamilton think he is anyway?Total crap any way you look at it.0/10

I was enthralled the whole time....I loved it.....hard to pigeonhold.I never liked Tom Cruise or Cameron Crowe....but this movie was both of their peaks.How can people compare this to "Jerry MaGuire"?As if that movie was really groundbreaking or well acted....Vanilla Sky takes us to a whole new world of film-making and is a must see for all music lovers!!! Cameron Diaz was also great in a very strange role.Good Stuff!

LOTR was a GOOD movie....not great...not tthe best of all time...or even the best of the year.It was visually exciting, but I agree with alot of you that it just simply got to be too long!It was also a little redundant with the Orc battles.We got the idea!The first 1/2 hour was kind of slow and the last half hour was slow....the 1 and 1/2 in between is where the action is.8/10

That was the word i kept asking myself over and over throughout this "film".Why do the critics like it so much?Why did it make even as much money as it did?Why am I still sitting through this.This movie should have been a huge flop and would have years ago when good movies were made more often.Very little story,no character development.....Jeezz, they couldnt even think up their own songs!!!!!Kurt Cobain must be turning in his grave!!! Terrible 3/10....gave it 3 simply because it looked good and Ewan deserves credit for putting up with this schlock!!!!!

I cant put a finger on it...good cast...fairly good screen play ( from a graphic novel) ...there is just something missing.There is a lull in the middle in which the movie never seems to recover.Depp is good as the investigator trying to solve the case,but he is not great.Ian Holm is a little over the top and Mary Kelley could have been played by any unknown.Some neat effects by the director..but as a whole,not really recommended.....6/10.

I am a fan of BNL,but by no means am a die-hard.This band just continues to win me over.This documentary was funny,enlightening and enormously entertaining.Something I needed over the past week or so.What really impresses me about these guys is that they are just great over-all entertainers! They should look into acting(at least Ed and Steve)! Lots of good stories from the road ,too! Lots of fun!9/10!!!

I thought the movie was pretty pointless except for a few laughs and some funny scenes with Neil Diamond.If u are a Diamond fan or a lover of kitsch,then see this merely for that reason alone.Other than that....do not waste your time.I really cant believe that this movie did not go straight to video.I gave it a 4...and that was only because of the priceless scenes with Neil! take that out and you have a 1!

I saw this movie because it was set in Milwaukee.It started out kind of interesting,then it fell apart.A very muddled plot and terrible acting in this feature.I gave it a 5 simply because it was filmed here and it may have some curious interest in the area.Other than that,you maybe able to catch it at 3:00am on some cable channel.Porn star acting and a poor script ruin this one!

"house was actually quite entertaining,I give it a 7/10.It would have been higher if not for the weak ending and some ignorant plot twists(ie...dead coming back to life,not once...but twice!!!)I love the horror genre,but am sorry to say that there are very few GOOD horror movies nowadays.This is one of the best horror movies I've seen in recent years.Very creepy!!!

Everything about it says average.Average acting,average story(which we have all seen before)etc.etc.And for that I give it a 5,only because of Freeman.I dont know why everyone is making a big deal about the "Surprise" ending.I saw this one coming a mile away.I will recommend it for older viewers of ,say,"Murder she Wrote" or "Father Dolwling Mysteries" or maybe even "Matlock", because thats what it reminded me of!

I Thought " Hannibal " was excellent and I give it a nine out of ten.I think the negative reviews stem from a snowball effect from people not wanting to like it.I really dont know what people were expecting.....I actually think that "Silence" was a bit overrated.I am still debating if I didnt like Hannibal better!Dont get me wrong...I loved " Silence",but I found it to be dull at times.I have a hard time remembering when "Hannibal was dull. What a suprise when I saw that Gary Oldman was Verger! Another pleasant suprise.I thought that it sounded like him,but I was too wrapped up in the movies to think about it.With all of this talent(Scott,Mamet,Hopkins,Moore...etc.) How can it be bad?A great HORROR movie!!

Very well acted on all parts! Where is the nomination for Malkovich?The film leaves you with an odd feeling.It takes you a while to snap out of it.Dafoe gets the role of a lifetime( an actor playing a vampire playing an actor) . I give it 7/10.One of a kind movie, that sometimes drags a little....but overall very interesting!

This movie was unique and quirky and had some good acting(ie Zellwegger and Freeman)The material was far too disjointed and pointless.I just couldnt get fully involved...the plot just did not seem to flow.I wanted to like this movie,it just never completely won me over.It sure starts off like a ball of fire,then ends up like typical Hollywood pap! 6/10....only that high because of the acting and some exciting scenes.

I love independent film,but this film is terrible.Unless you are a math,engineering or philosophy major,you will have no interest in this film.I tried to like it,but the plot was WAY too confusing.Its all been done(alot better,mind you)in Lynch's ERASERHEAD.I give this fim a 2...simply because the soundtrack was good enough to keep it from the lowest mark.Very pretentious amatuarish filmaking.

I just came back from seeing "the Last Picture Show" at an oldies theatre.I have to say that the cinematography and the direction were excellent.Very ahead of its time!It also had alot of elements of some of the old-time Hollywood movies.There was almost too much character development and not enough plot.The performances were outstanding also, i thought Timothy Bottoms was the best out of all of them.Cybill Shepard was unsettlingly erotic in this film.After all that being said,I felt like I was missing something.I didnt think it was all that it was cracked up to be.I guess I am just used to today's cinema.I give it a 7 1/2 out of 10.
