Etheria Film Night Shorts in the End.

Having started in late June with Waffle (2019-also reviewed) I reached the final of the Etheria Film Night Shorts on Shudder just before it left the site. I got set to discover how it would end.

Note:Some spoilers in review.

View on the film:

Ending the world in just 7 minutes (!), director Ursula Ellis & cinematographer send Earth and the Etheria Film Festival out with a bang, as wisely limited CGI flickers on screen as Ava sees it all end whilst watching cockroaches start to run the world on TV. On her own with only the voice of a computer keeping her company, Elsa Gay gives a great performance as Ava, whose snappy asides Gay tightens up,as Ava confronts the end.

A young woman prisoner in a special form of cage. The truth revealed scene by scene. A bacon chocolate and a dialogue, the surprise, the fear, the unsecurity and hope and the versions of death. An admirable acted film, a nice - touching story, the fair moral. And the feeling to discover something veryy, very familiar as heart of this short drama.
