Great episode, it's a bright second half ahead of us
Holt34415 February 2019
We are now half way through the season and I think the pace of the story is perfect, it feels like a perfect length. Today's episode was great and the showdown with Gordon and Eduardo was executed nicely, focusing on character development instead of an epic fight sequence. How Bruce worked into the plan was great as we got to see him acting more as Batman instead of a edgy kid, no hate towards the actor. The sub plot with Penguin and Selina was unnecessary and lacked a purpose except for some dialogue and seeing them team up.

I was excited to see Lee Thompkins again but I haven't missed her that much thanks to the writing team making Barbara likeable again, for the first time since season 2. I'm liking her story arc for this season, feels like a human again. Next week's episode looks to be great as with what they teased at the end.

Please bring the script back on track!

Warning: Spoilers
Very bad direction again by Ben McKenzie. He previously directed A Dark Knight: One of My Three Soups (2018) and Heroes Rise: These Delicate and Dark Obsessions (2017) and both of them were directionless. WB should not burden him and should let him focus on his acting skills!

Let's evaluate his directing skills. In the opening scene, He is on gun point range by Riddler and he evades him; A clone Selina (played by Sarah Schenkkan and comes to this episode with some sloppy make-up) comes to Penguins's basement and the guards didn't notice anything about it ; Bruce fights one of the goons which seemed like child's play; Eduardo sneaks behind Gordon and almost knocks him. Jeremiah manages to be deceptive like The Dark Knight and knock's off Alfred - what happened to his military skills? And last but not the least, Gordon gets crazy after Babara (finally!) and after some smooching from the previous episode, she gets pregnant, which reminds me James McAvoy's dialogue from Split - "Did I get you pregnant?"!

My score: 6/10 Season 5: 41/6 = 6.83

Hate lee and jim

WTF! Why you don't you let Barbara forget Jim .those stupid authors are really homophobia Barbara and Tabitha could be a great couple . But what is wrong with you crazy authors. You killed Tabitha and Barbra is still in love with jim!!!!

And the most disgusting character , Lee appear again to be with Jim.

Ok you are trying hard to focus on your golden boy , Jim but you don't have any idea maybe some people love other character not your stupid hero.

And about batman !!! There is still no batman and Bruce wayne is still that stupid teenager that can't do anything incredible... so borrrring.

And damn you imdb why i should write 600 character to let me post my review!!!!
