Oh come on!

Patient story mirroring Dr Resse's? Really?

I'm so tired of the Dr Reese-Dr Charles push-me-pull-you story lines.

Also tired of Dr Manning - Dr Halstead butting heads over cases, both before and after they became a couple. Every other week it's something else. Sigh.

We Were On a Break!
spasek12 April 2018
Actually, give me a break. Here we seem to be having a regurgitating scenario of the Ross/Rachel persuasion. Will wants to talk to Dr. Manning, and of course, in the annoying way that only she knows how to "communicate" she reminds him that she needs a break. The end of the episode gives a possible prelude into what might transpire next. Anyone who's watched "Friends" will scoff at the parallels! It's as if the writers couldn't come up with anything genuine.

Dr. Manning continues to be my least favorite character. The overly emotional, reactionary, and immature Dr. Manning only knows how to communicate one way. She's incapable of seeing things from anyone else's point of view. She thinks that Will was intentionally demeaning her somehow. But, instead of talking it out with him, she snaps at him and runs off. She takes offense where none was intended, and she refuses to talk things out.

The saving grace for this episode (and the series) is still Oliver Platt's Dr. Charles. He's always been a rock-solid actor, and he's often the glue that keeps this series somewhat afloat.

The chemistry between April and Dr. Choi just isn't working at all. This one needs to go.

Dr. Rhodes is the only other character besides Dr. Charles that I really like, and Colin Donnell is working wonders with him.

The show is quickly losing steam with me. I'm not sure how much longer I'll stick with it. It'll never come close to the powerhouse that was "ER," and if the writers weakly continue to steal storylines from other TV series, then I'll definitely be giving up on this one.
