Chapter Five
bobcobb3016 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
These episodes are sure to be polarizing because they come off as more of a "one-off" story rather than advancing the point of the show.

I was bored at first, but eventually I got on board and enjoyed it. The demon was evil and scary and Sabrina outsmarting it in the end was great TV.

Excellent!!

Best episode so far. You get to know the characters, their thoughts and you come close to them. Also the ending was just what I needed.

Dark, satirical humor at its best

Experimental and refreshing episode, personally i enjoyed all the dream sequences (though Hilda's and Zelda's are the best). Reminded me of some of the best experimental episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but with the better execution. Creepy and cheesy atmosphere mixed with social satire, what else whoud you wish? Great chance to better know all the main characters through their nightmares. Low rating is not justified.

Nightmares

A great terror sequence of nightmare after nightmare. I couldn't help but laugh at Zelda's worst nightmare. Dark humor and scares.

Not a huge fan of filler episodes. This one didn't prove me different.

It was ok. The dreams went on for too long and they didn't really add anything to the main plot.

Who plays?

I am loving this series! A question though..who plays the dark lord in episode 5? I thought it kind of looked like Ross Lynch, but I could not find any names in cast lists.

Dream sequences that go on and on and on
danielleelise8329 October 2018
The whole episode is made up of nightmares for various characters, which, when they actually get to the point are pretty creepy and graphic, but the nightmares take forever to progress and they just go on forever. I just felt annoyed with the slow meaningless progression.

Nightmare after nightmare after nightmare....
maybell-nieves3 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Just a "filler"... Really didn't care much about this one. One nightmare after another and there are 4 caracters dreaming full nightmares stories and Sabrina has to go inside those dreams... You do the math. Really boring. Acting ok

Terrible episode and a complete waste of time
andreaskeith21 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Well that's 54 minutes I don't get back. This is clearly just a filler episode which doesn't add anything at all to the main story. The nightmares are dull and predictable. The demon is ugly af and not in a scary way. Why? Why do we have to watch all of their nightmares? They are just stating the obvious. We already know of their respective complexes: Sabrina's duality issues and her big witch secret in the muggler world especially in regards to her love story; Ambrose's entrapment struggle; Zelda's palpable love interest in the High Priest; and Hilda's sister complex. It's typical Hollywood and so American to spell it out so clearly. And even more when Sabrina talks to Salem to really hold our hands in this reaaaally complicated plot. Please have a little faith in your audience. We're not that stupid. Lousy lousy writing.
