Quite unfortunate that though there are fascinating details to Wallis Simpson's life that are shared on this documentary, it's very poorly presented. It seems like there is no direction and edited quite haphazardly. The hosts and the curator seem to be more excited about being on camera that attempts fo convey information and humor were cringeworthy. I eventually enjoyed this playing in the background while vacuuming.

Terrible, Amateur "Documentary"

Sound quality was sterrible, goofy errors like a crew member's clipboard showing in front of the camera - was this filmed by a high school AV club? Very one-sided celebration of a controversial historical figure whose reputation, if anything, has become more soured as facts about her and her husband's dangerous liaisons have come to light. Get over her fashion icon status and talk about their mockery of state affairs when the world was on the brink of another world war.
Terrible documentary.

Okay there were a smidge of interesting details in the beginning, but it really failed to deliver. I just turned it off about 2/3 through when I looked back up from my phone and saw they were back at the dress talking about her fashion icon stuff yet again. I was hoping to see more about her actual upbringing and any encounters people had. And what's with this oddball blend of proper British presentation combined with almost desperate historians in Baltimore, also combined with modern "street" music at odd moments? This was not good and you're better off reading Wikipedia or watching something on YouTube.
