A good man to have around
bkoganbing13 February 2020
A fellow detective is gunned down right outside his home as he is going to work and Donnie Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez catch the case. The deceased is about to be a key witness in a mob trial so that's where they first look.

Speaking of mob Bridget Moynahan brings in a confidential informant that Steven Schirripa has some bad history with. But once again Schirripa proves to be a man I want to have around.

Nicely plotted episode.

Warning: Spoilers
An all-right episode, but certainly not one of the best. O well, you can't please everyone all the time.

A neighbor happened to notice the wife of a police officer running to give him coffee just before he is shot. In other words, the coffee prevented him from getting his gun to defend himself? It looks like a mob hit as the officer was on a case involving them. We are jostled to learn that the wife was having an affair with his partner and the two plotted his demise. Come on now, let's get somewhat realistic.

Garrett is taken down by a swat team and he goes on an immediate leave due to the trauma experienced by him and his wife during the incident. How far-fetched can we go when we discover that a 16 year old blind youngster arranged the whole incident when he felt he was disrespected by Garrett. Again, realism please?

Everyone also seems to be meeting up with sharp attorneys who can get their eyes off. How one of them is the loser at the end here was a little bit too much to take.

To great, better shows next week.
