Fun thirty-three minute documentary about the making of David Cronenberg's THE BROOD features interviews with star Samantha Eggar, executive producer Pierre David, special effects artists Rick Baker and Joe Blasco as well as assistant director John Board. Not only is THE BROOD discussed but we also get a few stories about SHIVERS, RABID and FAST COMPANY. Those interviewed certainly tell some very good stories about the production with Eggar getting several good stories in including one about why she decided to lick the blood of the baby during that now infamous scene. There are also some fun stories told about working with Oliver Reed and the one time that he got arrested while filming the movie. There are some nice stories about the various things that were going on behind-the-scenes as well as talk about the film's growing popularity.
