This is a New Zealand nature show. The premise of this show is that each episode represents 24 hours in nature. Of course, that's not the reality. All this footage is filmed over many days, maybe even years. Who knows? The clock is very artificial. It's a man-made imposition upon this natural world. I would simply start each show at sunrise and finish with the dawn of the next day. That seems more fitting with nature. The positive has to be the animals. There are so many animals and they are wonderful. The wide variety of locations does clash with the premise of narrowing the focus to 24 hours. It may be more compelling to stay with one animal group over one day. I'm not sure about the listed first season. I haven't seen two of those episodes.
