This was another fun episode of the show, and I really like how J. J has become less of a stock character and is now very much a three dimensional person in his own right.
This show is empowering in many ways, because we see J. J wanting all the experiences that an able bodied teenager would want.
Other than the bratty/shouty sister character, I think everything else is working fine, and there hasn't been a below average episode as yet for me.
Overall, another fine outing from the first series of Scott Silveri's ('Joey') latest comedy 'Speechless'. I hope the quality continues in their vein.
