Way too much time on trivia. The segment on Henry's hat is longer than the time devoted to Anne Boleyn. Who is mentioned as a mistress, than forgotten and it's on to wife #3, Jane Seymour.

Very entertaining and informative. Really easy to follow. Only bit of information that would be incorrect, or actually just lacking, was the Privy of the Stool position. Henry last Privy of the Stool Sir Anthony Denny, actually told Henry what was inevitable... Then Henry ask for archbishop... Sir Anthony Denny also had control of all access to Henry his last few days.
Nothing but hearsay and old info

'Private Lives' is nothing more than gossip and hearsay dusted off and presented as fact. No in depth research appears to have been done whatsoever. Not taking into account that much were political slurs. Obviously made to create 'historical titillation' and grasp at viewers. The reinactments were fine. Very disappointed considering this woman is a curator at Historic Royal Palaces.
