Sex & Nudity
-
- D'Mello is interested in his partner in Canada and his neighbor/fellow detective in India; we hear how beautiful they are and see D'Mello longing for them. Expect kissing, dating, flirting. A woman flatly says that three young girls will have to become prostitutes if their father is jailed. There are a few off-color jokes, including a running joke about Stanley farting, and D'Mello joking that he broke up with his (imaginary) boyfriend because he was "huge."
Violence & Gore
-
- The violence is generally milder than on most police shows -- no blood, gore, sexualized victims. In Mumbai, an officer who is shaking and pushing a suspect says he's "questioning" him; a swami dies suddenly by being poisoned; we attend his funeral and see his dead body (he looks peacefully asleep).
Profanity
-
- Cursing is mild and infrequent: "a-hole," "goddammit," "hell," "dicks" (used to refer to a group of unpleasant people).
