lovely

A tour guide. UFO fans. A field. And the answer to a dispute. And, sure, a driver . The film has the admirable gift to ironize, in wise manner, cliches. And it does that step by step in a short film who gives only a seductive demonstration of humor more than a story. The second virtue - it reminds animation films. And the authors of strange circles are the exact answer who you expect from the first scene. So, just lovely.

very funny comedy / science fiction short

Warning: Spoilers
A tongue-in-cheek look at a modern form of tourism, to wit the kind of tourism where UFO and/or crop circle enthusiasts visit places supposed to hold clues to the secrets of the universe. Generally speaking this involves creeping through fields, being pursued by angry farmers and drinking tepid tea from a hip flask, but here the group gets more than it bargained for...

This little short is quite funny, not only because there's a good joke being told but also because the characters are hilarious. (Bravo to both acting and casting.) There's a considerable level of professionalism.

I used the word "modern", but perhaps I was mistaken. Where have all these wondrous, ominous, significant crop circles gone ? I haven't heard or seen much of them these last years. Is it possible that the aliens have grown tired of us, and that they are now making crop circles in the fields of a planet situated somewhere near Betelgeuze ? "Oooh, these little pink and beige bipeds are so passé - now we're annoying the fluorescent heptadextrous caterpillars of Xlubgu. Much more happening, darling, and ever so convenient for the shops."
