"MeTube 2: August Sings Carmina Burana" is a 4.5-minute short film (music video?) from January this year that is becoming at least as popular as the first film starring August and his mother. This time they are not in their apartment, but outside and they deliver a show that involves the song mentioned in the title. I personally cannot say I enjoyed the watch, but I see Sundance Film Festival did. To me it was neither funny nor particularly inspiring or creative, even if the singer's voice was decent. Not my kind of music I guess. This short film (again) by Daniel Moshel is a perfect example of style over substance for me. Visually it was really strong and spectacular, but in terms of plot or memorability, it is entirely non-existent from the artistic perspective. And that's why I believe it is a sequel that should not have been made. I do not recommend the watch. Thumbs down, even if I have a feeling the series has not ended yet.
