Very amateur film.

More like a home made film. All very amateurish and poor story line. Have seen worse films but not sure when.

It's ok

Story line is great but the acting is bloody horrible unless it's supposed to be that robotic. Sometimes are scenes are put together in such a patchy way it looks tacky.

I'm Struggling To Find The Words.
carlospresents4 March 2019
There isn't one good actor in this film. None of these people are actors. They cannot act. The filming is at times atrocious. Bizarre angles and poor editing. It's clearly been done on a minuscule budget. However this all adds us to make it quite endearing. I get the feeling that there's been a lot of effort put into the story which has all just been squandered on awful casting. It's a good story! If you can fight through you'll hopefully be entertained. Again, the acting is awful. Terrible.

Absolutely Awful
malcolmcleverly13 March 2019
Terrible. There's a decent plot and story line but the actors are not actors, too much dramatic music, and the end is just absurd. I have an awful feeling there might be a sequel. When the credits roll and all the main cast have the same first names in real life, well you know how good they are at remembering lines. Don't waste 80 minutes of your life.

Meandering waste of time

This movie is truly awful on so many levels. The acting is wooden and lifeless, and the plot is unconvincing and messy. The characters have no depth and seem to act at random. The whole thing is very amateurish, and makes no sense.

Awful
majestictwelve-8606214 March 2019
A very poor film in almost every aspect. The acting and camera work is truly dreadful and at times embarrassing to watch. The script and editing lacks focus and continuity, Frequently it's impossible to differentiate between the main protagonists and supporting roles because everyone and there are many has a line. Scenes are awkwardly composed with some peculiar camera angles. Ultimately the editing, leaves you with a sense that the final product is a collage of clips randomly assembled from different films. It beggars belief that anyone would give this film five stars.

A genuine mystery
nik-carter-118 March 2019
The real mystery here has nothing to do with the plot; it's why on earth Netflix decided to sign up this film. Don't get me wrong, I am a great fan of micro-budget films (apparently this one cost just £5,000 to make). It gives film-makers a genuine opportunity to retain artistic control of their work and it allows unknown cast and crew members to work on a major project from start to finish. But this one under-delivers in every single department - from the script to the cinematography to the acting. If I had attended a private screening with friends and family I might well have joined in with the hand-shakes and slaps on the back; it's not easy to make a film without decent funding or external support; just deciding to have a crack at it warrants applause. But as soon as a film like this gets into the public domain it has to be judged alongside other films. I've paid my Netflix subscription so I have every right to expect the films on this platform to justify that expenditure and be decent. This one is not. Sorry guys, it's a shocker, and Netflix should take it down.

AWFUL
barden257 April 2019
Had to give it one star just because I am nice. The plot summary written on IMDB is the best thing about this film. The premise of the story sounded great, the actual story was awful, the acting was awful, I could have even lived with the poor filming if it had been a great story but it wasn't explained clearly and had a pathetically halfwitted ending. Don't believe the 2 reviews on here giving high praises and great action. This film is bloody awful!

Definitely for the yanks like me from florida!
m_winship8 April 2019
Martin Goodwin looks up.a dark secret his father leaves behind as a mystery unravels about the staff of Moses. You see, back in the Roman days of occupation in England it was told that all the territories would be pagan except one. This area was delegated to Christians as the new and exciting religion was taking hold in England and then Italy of course. They were also relegated the original staff of Moses to guard, but it was nowhere to be found! This movie starts off with an English bang, but begins to edge into mundane as the background music was a bit loud for my tastes. Yeah, you heard me right, (the one who plays impossibly loud rock 🎸 90% of the day). However, a certain audio balance is necessary for good drama. I liked the movie and recommend it for the Yankee chaps, like me from Florida. I give it a good 8. Truly inspiring, and loved the scenery.Pax, Murf

Great story with original plot
leanderbuerk24 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
With no knowledge of the plot I thought it was going to be a slow paced country-side whodunit but was very pleasantly surprised by the way the story unfolds and the way the characters get pulled into the search for the staff of Moses. It's an original story which is refreshing, no rehashing of old material and the acting was good too!

Really Great Film highly recommended enjoyed ever minute of it
steve-6592824 October 2017
Stunningly beautiful North Yorkshire scenery with truly beautiful forgotten Historic Churches. Acting comes across really professional so its hard to believe these actors are not professional because they should be! Think along the lines of the Da Vinci code with a splash of Indiana Jones and you'll get the feel for it. Saw this at the VUE cinema in Leeds in June and the colours on the screen were just spot on, haven't seen a film like that in a very long time.

OUTSTANDING! Blew me away!
info-990-22939424 October 2017
OUTSTANDING! Blew me away! I was initially concerned as to how 3D would work with some of the lighting, especially the low light scenes; however, it worked extremely well with highlighting the different aspects of the scene. It was great that I got to see it in 2D first. I can now see how much 3D adds to the story and actually makes a very very good story even better. Excellent Film can't wait for the follow up. Highly recommended!

Awesome Film!!!
edmazza7 December 2017
I had the honor to view this film in both 2D and 3D. Combined a great story line, the 3D and lighting added value to the film experience. This film kept me engaged from the first scene to the final scene. I am looking forward to a sequel. This film proves that 3D is not just for adventure films. The combined use of 3D depth, lighting, scenery, color, story, and so on surely added value to the film's experience.
