I'm Spartacus
bkoganbing17 December 2019
In this Blue Bloods story Donnie Wahlberg and Marisa Ramirez catch a case where four women who work as prostitutes all confess to killing their pimp. All pull an I'm Spartacus routine as both Wahlberg and Bridget Moynahan note the famous classic film.

With her own daughter Moynahan has a different problem as Sami Gayle and four friends are arrested because there are two grams of cocaine found in the car Gayle was driving and in this case no one owns up to it.

Tom Selleck and his parish priest argue the merits of whether the priest should turn in a felon. It's a bit right out of G.K. Chesterton. Personally I liked this story line the best.

Warning: Spoilers
Excellent show when Nikki is arrested as someone in the car she is driving has drugs. She has to go through the humiliating experience of being under arrested with her mother quite upset, especially her refusal to say who had the drugs in the car.

It was funny when Nikki used an old Reagan technique to nab the guilty party at the episode's end. It was also interesting seeing her interact with her Uncle Jamie, something we have never seen before in this hit show.

Another part of the show was that four girls were saying they killed a guy who was in reality their pimp. Wonderful to see Danny talk the guilty party out of jumping off the building. He really showed that our police do care.

Of course, the highlight was the part of the show where the parish priest refuses to give up on the lad who stole from the collection plate and the near tragedy that ensued at the episode's end because of this. The sanctity of the confession was well shown here.
