... as for the movie, it too follows down a similar unknown path, barely six dozen ratings on this same site in all the years since release ... guess it does happen that someone only appears in one work, yet how many times are they one of the two leads in the film

... more can be said about this, but at this point there's little point in prolonging-discussion ... and just-how-much at times does she look-like Brittany Snow.

This is a great feel good romantic comedy by writer-director Kellen Garner(who, oh by the way, also stars in it!). The film is beautifully shot and - at it's heart - has to do with young abandoned love. Is crazy young love worth holding on to? Coming back to? Can you be a realist and still live those dreams? Sonny - the surfer - thinks so. Beth - the lawyer - is not so sure. The story is funny and warm and moving and it's full of charm - and it all comes to a very emotional ending. I really enjoyed TangerineLAnd! It is a true indie find! If you're looking for something different from your typical big budget studio film give TangerinLAnd a chance. You won't regret it!

The show has a slow start because I wasn't expecting a low budget film, but once the plot started to unfold the story line flowed nicely. It reminded me of Sweet Home Alabama, same plot. I really enjoyed the actors, I thought they put their heart into the roles and it showed. They aren't seasoned actors who got paid millions of dollars to star in this film, but they gave a good performance and their skills improved throughout the entire film. You could see them blossom. The story line is one we've seen before in Sweet Home Alabama but it still seemed like it's own story. It has both laid back and uptight characters who wouldn't seem to fit together, but you find yourself rooting for them to make it work again. All in all I watched the movie twice, because that's how I like to watch movies, the first one creates anxiety until I know the ending so I go back and watch it to see it unfold with a different perspective; but only if I like it.

If you ever had a lost love, then this movie is for you. I thought it was really well done for and independent film. The acting was solid and the characters Beth, Sonny, and Haley stood out to me. Authentic performances. Actually all of the acting was great. Just a feel good film. Highly recommended!

TangerineLAnd is a refreshing and touching indie romantic comedy! I loved the performances of the lead actors. They were engaging and really served this charming story well. Speaking of the story, I'm a big fan of the stripped down and naturalistic storytelling here. I feel like it really helped me engage with the characters and get into their journey on a deeper level. I thought the photography really worked well too and the music was also really excellent! BRAVO!

4 stars. Most IMDb and Amazon Prime users are giving this movie strong ratings, but I'm unable to. Although the plot was appealing, the acting seemed on par with a high school play, and the script, audio, and cinematography were weak. I only made it half way through; perhaps the second half was better. For those who liked this movie, I appreciate your gift for seeing its beauty.

The movie was well written, competently acted and had enough unpredictability to make it interesting. In a world of movies that contain distasteful and twisted material, this movie is a little gem!!

I enjoyed this romantic comedy! The story was relatable. The main characters were charming and I loved the witty remarks from the supporting actress. Really good acting performances from everyone. It is heartwarming and witty. Can't wait to see what else Broom Horse Pictures has in store!

Though it basically has two time lines of the main couple they are interwoven to tell an interesting story. Even though I felt I knew the ending I was interested enough in the married couple to go to the end. In a world of hallmarkish movies this is good enough to watch.
