Nekromantic: The Making Of (1997)

This nine minute interview with director Jorg Buttgereit was originally included in a German VHS release of his notorious NEKROMANTIC but now can be found on several releases across the world. This is a pretty good interview as the director talks about how he come up with the idea for the movie, interesting facts like the corpse costing $200 to make and he also shares various stories about the making of the picture as well as its release. There are some great stories shared here and there's no question that Buttgereit does a very good job at keeping you entertained throughout. I would add that the highlight is a sequence where we see a clip of the ending as it appeared in Japan. Since pubic hair and "male parts" can't be seen there, the sequence was edited so we get to see how it appeared. Fans of the film will certainly enjoy this quick interview.
