One Bad Aspect Bringing The Whole Thing Down.
Movie-ManDan14 May 2019
Stephanie is deejaying at lucha wrestling event. She even get Ramona's dance club to perform between matches.

Jackson's friend, Bobby Popko is having a bad influence on him. They do "Jackass" stunts. When Jackson defies her orders to not go to Popko's, she does not allow him to go to wrestling.

When it gets to the wrestling, it is pretty cheesy. Not the wrestling itself (most promotions take itself seriously), but the dancing preparations and the announcer (played by 'Who's Line Is It Anyways?' reoccurring member, Jeff Davis). Popko helps Jackson sneak to the event and almost all the Fullers get involved in the match. That is agonizing to watch. WWE is not good anymore, but even that is better than this. It brought a pretty good episode down a whole octave. 'Full House' would not have included the wrestling and would have done a better job with Jackson's rebellion.

Warning: Spoilers
A real hit/miss episode this, with the scene where Candace Cameron Bure's DJ ends up in the ring being particularly cringey.

Again it's a case of "the episode is running short, chuck in a dance sequence" too - a device already overused.

Max remains annoying, while Stephanie and particularly Kimmy are still the best things about this show.

A muddled outing.
