The film opens as WW2 is just underway and follows the relationship of Jimmy and Evelyn. The main focus of the film is how the war has changed their relationship. It is well acted and I cared about the characters. There are several supporting actors who bring some humour to the film. It is a low budget film so don't go expecting Downton Abbey, but the locations and costumes are just about authentic enough not to detract from the story.
