My daughter enjoyed it. The plot seemed a bit off in many places. And I couldn't actually work out what was going on. But it wasn't too bad to watch and keep my daughter entertained.

The biggest strength of the movie is how adorable the various birds, monkeys and titular dragon are, and the protagonists around and including the amnesiac Clara are immensely likable.

Which makes it all the more frustrating how the story never comes quite together. The questions that are driving force behind Clara's actions (where did she come from, how did she lose her memory, is she really a fairy, how do the monkeys fit into her story) never get satisfying answers, and the motivations of the random assembly of villains never go any deeper than "they're eeeeevil". Prophecies don't become true, and the ending is an unearned deus ex machina twist.

An additional draft of the script could have salvaged this movie. Because it's never as good as you want it to be, but it's almost there. Maybe a sequel could tie the unanswered questions together, but it's highly doubtful we'll ever get one.

This one was weird! The script jumps from one scene to another and nothing makes sense. If something starts to happen, the scene is roughly cut and other scene continues. Does not tie the whole cartoon together at all! Did not understand, why the sourcerer wanted the dragon and what was the point of monkeys fighting over a wooden cup. Cartoon maker tried to make all "funny" scenes by characters falling off of somewhere- over and over and over again. Sorry, but a waste of time! The whole cinema hall was full of children and none of them laughed once during the cartoon...

All I know is my 3 year old loves it and watches it aroynd 7 times a day. I actually don't find it annoying like many other bigger budget ones either. It woyld be good if they could make more of Clara ans the gangs adventures. Not to many songs either with is a nice change to all the others taht seem to have a song for every scean. This one is mor eight harted and good entertainment. The dragon us very cute also and it really needs a continuation of this. I am now having to write words just to make the count for the review but I will be watching it again and again and again until my daughter moves on.
