A different point of view of life from cleaning "ladies"
iremmeltemozil9 January 2019
This movie is all about two woman who clean the houses for money. They are poor, they struggle every day and try to hold on to life in Istanbul. These people are part of significant number of houses in Turkey and yet we do not know about these woman's lives. Ahu Öztürk shows us a great point of view of their lives. Characters are not angel or evil, they are just people with great issues. We see their struggle in the movie whole time and we can empathize with those woman easily. This movie does not make you cry but it certainly gives a pain to your heart.

The ordinary but still valid story of the disadvantaged
ozgencsutlu27 January 2022
In this film, which proceeds quite calmly, the representation of the political is poured into the narrative without any action. The remarkable thing in the story of two Kurdish women who are workers is that although they seem to be able to contact high-income and "non-Kurdish" women, the wall that always stands between them and "other" women somehow hits them in the face.
